hurricane Katrina..

I heard this on the radio..

9/11/2001 = million dollar gifts to families of deceased relatives
that lead to better living, plastic surgery and whatever..

hurricane katrina 2000$ credit cards = louis vuitton stuff and other expensive stuff.

People in NY already had money and got more after that disatser
People in New Orleans had none and got some after that disasater

Is it right for the hirricane situation people used their 2000 for crap when they should of used it for needs(clothe food) or did they base it off o exmaple of free money given to those from 9/11. AND WHEN I SAY FREE, I SAY IT LOSSELY BECAUSE I KNOW MANY HAVE DIED BUT HOW MUCH IS SOMEONE'S LIFE WORTH IN COST???

My opnion, If I lost a love one and got money for it(9/11) I would not be better off but with extra money in my pocket. thoughts and opinions please.

Actually, figuring this out is my job! The value of a human life depends on way to many factors for me to get into here and now, however, I have paid out from $30,000 to $13,000,000.

life insurance is contemporary but before life insurance people still coped and dealed. money is comforting but if it given out of grief then it should not be used for useless crap unless that person who died allowed this via will.

Thats why when these young girls marry old rich people until they die thats where my thoughts come in and say WTF. Example is that slim spa girl I forgot her name.

quit your bitching.

there are people in this world who don't have money NOW, and will die horrible deaths from starvation, political imprisonment, and disease.

so gimme a break.

here we have a comparision....in the red corner...

APPLES:
A terrorist attack that killed many.

and in the orange corner

ORANGES:
A naturally occuring weather attack that destroyed a city's worth of homes.

you do the math.

Okay but more people have died due to the natural occuring weather attack. Personally, I don't think the government should give anyone money. If they purchased life insurance then smart on them and collect from the life insurance. The government should assist by feeding, clothing and providing shelter for the people...if they really wanted to go the extra mile then maybe even help them find jobs in their new area.

The people that lived in New Orleans really shouldn't get a damn thing. They decided to live under sealevel. Any reasonable and prudent person would realize that living under sea level.....not a good idea. The fact that the city of New Orleans even exists where it does is retarded. I hope they don't rebuild the city....cause this is just going to happen again.

I think it is a bit easier to say when you don't live there. But regardless, it has and probably will continue to be a major US city, and because of that people will always live there. It is easy to see how it came to be populated, not because retards decided below sea level was a great place, but because of the sea port. thats how early cities were developed.

not sure i agree we shouldn't give them anything, people are in need, and I would think the governement should be concerned with that. I dunno if they are going about it the right way, but they should be assisting regardless.

It's not like those people moved there. I'm sure a big majority of them were born there, along with several of their ancestors

No, the government should help. If the government didn't help then the insurance industry would be ed.

I can't help but laugh when I see these people thanking Jesus for saving them. I mean.. if it was Jesus that saved them.. who ed them up?

God:You sinful bastards. I'll teach you a lesson.
*God floods the city, killing thousands.*
God:Now Jesus, my son, get down there and save them.
Jesus:Aww, Daaaaad..
God:Goddamnit, get down there or you're grounded until next Armageddon.. don't make me take of this belt..
Jesus:*Whimper*

For real. Sometimes I wonder how people can somehow believe there's a difference between "god flooded the city" and "god allowed it to happen." there's no ing difference
