missed opportunities: somebody give me a beating!

Tonight, I ed up with the hottest girl that i've ever laid eyes on!
I'm so distraught, that I'm looking towards the interweb for willing participants to beat me to a bloody pulp.
The Scenario: I was at the exclusive film fest party at Hugo Boss in Yorkville, all the women were smoking hot, and there was this one girl that stood above the rest. I was coming downstairs from the bar and she asked: "what's going on upstairs?" I was so dumbfounded by her beauty that I just said "nothing, just an empty bar, if you want a drink that's the place to go".....And I was slowly inching towards the outside area.....At the time I was totally oblivious to the fact that she was trying to continue the conversation by asking "What, there's no clothes or anything? Is there anything going on upstairs?"....And of course, me being the moron that I am, I just said "no.....Nothing...Just an empty bar".
.....As the night continued she was sitting on the couch alone, at this time I didn't even realize that she was at the party alone....And she had all these guys on her like white on rice....So me and my co-worker thought, if she's giving her number out to all those guys, maybe I had a chance....So as she left, we followed her out and tried to strike up a conversation with her.....Turns out she was an actress from Romania and was just in town for the festival......And she proceeded to tell me that all those guys were creeps and that she was just waiting for me to save her, and then before she got in the cab she said "next time, take that leap".
ARAGHGHRHRHGHGHGH!!!! I could just kick myself in the head right now if I was flexible enough to actually do so.

The moral of the story:
Even the everyday guy has a chance to hook up with a supermodel type Romanian actress....So if she talks to you, treat is as an invitation and DON'T IT UP! |

Yeah really! When you meet a random girl at a party, how the are you supposed to know they wanna be saved?! You don't wanna be the overzealous type that doesn't leave them alone, when you think they want to be, and then when they don't, they make you feel like about it!
The only thing that's gonna help me sleep tonight is if I tell myself she just said all that to make me feel like crap just to get her kicks....Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

| the problem with those senarios is that while is happening, you think to yourself "no, i'm imagining her sexual advances.." and then you end up realizing you're a fool. done that once or twice.. but it's all good. |

Some girl I've been, uh, "courting," for a little while ended up tonight, completely randomly, with some guy who was about 250lbs, with a pink shirt that had his collar popped, and had a John Deere trucker hat on.
