In case any of you were curious, i'm currently trying to get in touch with her publicist, manager, or booking agent under the seemingly innocent premise that I'm going to pitch something to her. Beit a movie, and appearance, a magazine spread.....Whatever. I haven't thought that far yet.
Maybe I can find out if she'll be at any upcoming parties and find out how to get myself in.

1. I'm not desperate. I'm PHENOMENALLY happy being alone right now, I'm not interested in being emotionally involved with anyone....So yes, if it wasn't obvious, this attraction with this girl is purely physical....For now at least. There was just something about her and the way she looked that I haven't been able to forget and have become completely infatuated with since that party.
2. Common man or not. Nobody is going to give you something unless you think you deserve it. In my life i've constantly reinvented myself and surprised myself to no end, having things fall into my lap that I didn't think I deserved, or even earned....All the while being oblivious to the fact that maybe my perceptions of myself are understated, and maybe I did in fact, earn that because I worked hard or charmed my way into it. The bottom line is that you dictate your own self worth and nobody is going to give you anything that you don't think you deserve.
3. I don't think it's desperate to try and get in touch with her....Depending on how you spin it....Over the years, i've learned that a phenomenal PR guy can sell sex to a nun if he puts the right spin on it. |

as long as you don't spin it in the "desperate loser" way as mentioned above... you might get somewhere. Hell brother, just contact her and tell her what you told us -> "There was just something about her and the way she looked that I haven't been able to forget and have become completely infatuated with since that party."
see how far that gets you... being honest, direct, upfront, and most importantly, being a man about it and not beating around the bush with some absurd interview possibilities or whatever. |

because believe it or not, airbrushing takes skill and a bit of talent, which is something computers don't have yet. Airbrushing isn't opening up an image in some wonderful program and clicking 'make look better'.
Hm.. the above sounded like I was defending airbrushers too much - I was speaking from a CS point of view, and with the technology we have so far, it's pretty much impossible.
Edit: on topic, Leave it be man - you struck out. Sometimes that happens - you can't expect to go back to the umpire and plead with him to give you another chance. Deal with it and move on.
P.S. I can almost guarantee you she forgot all about you already - she's a model ffs - she meets average guys like you every 10 minutes. |
