Doesn't look too good for Röyksopp in the poll after i voted; 3rd place with only half the % compared to Superfamily. ALOT more votes needed if anyone wants them to win that.

They're up against high cred rock (Madrugada) and mainstream chart toppers (Mira Craig), so I wouldn't expect any award in that category.

From The Knife. Their song Heartbeats was remixed by Rex The Dog last year. And it's a truly insane piece of pop music. Do check it out if you get the chance.

But the Thin White Duke Edit of What Else Is There is also a pretty decent tune.

and if you liked heartbeats, do check out José González' accoustic interpretation of it. it's nothing short of awesomeness.

Whatever I say about 'What Else is There?', I'd be doing it a great injustice. It's a truly magical track and certainly among The Understanding's best. Incidentally I listened to the album for the umpteenth time earlier and still got goosebumps throughout Alpha Male. Svein sure can bash that cymbal good! Now my ears don't work anymore.

Getting back on topic, despite initially hating it I've decided that I now actually really rather like the Thin White Duke remix of 'What Else is There?'.

I am so tempted to make a Röyksopp thread now. :nervous:

At least it's above Boogieman! :D

About the remixes, the Vitalic one is nice, but I didn't like Trentemøller's effort. Too monotonous for my tastes.

the mash up matthew adams did with this track, best of you by foo fighters and bjork - violently happy (mercurio remix - matthew adams edit) is ING AMAZING
