Congrats to Laurence and to Ashley for this tune.A tune which is different from the other progressive stuff outthere. Gives me a melancholy every time i listen to it or perhaps a deep/soul feeling...
Well i have to admin though Luminary - My World (Original Mix) is ur best work till now guys, is the most innovative deep atmospheric and in the same time emotional tune i heard in the prog trance style in the last 3 years.I think Amsterdam has some of My World's Characteristics but i don't think is as good as My World (Original Mix) was... |

| This is definately the best vocal trance tune of the year IMO. The lyrics are wonderful and the vocals suit the song perfectly...so enchanting <3 S&P remix is out of this world...GREAT work!! |

Do you mean S&P as in Smith & Pledger?;) Or do you have a secret source to a new remix that we don't?:toothless |

You know, it is both a blessing and a curse to be played out early on. I have to say that it has been really great getting so much positive feedback on our track, especially when the subject matter is so personal! Its kind of funny though because these days, music is often seen as "old" and played out as soon as it has hit the decks a handful of times :)
But thats okay. The price you pay for making personal music is leaving yourself open to criticism, and in the end its usually just a matter of taste. Even Arksun and I sometimes disagree on whether tracks are "hot" or "not".
So for those who like it... thanks so much for your support!
We worked hard to make Amsterdam feel like a singular emotional portrait, and i hope that comes accross. It really meant something to me when i was writing it, and it especially means a lot that others can relate to those feelings too.

Keep up the amazing work, I absolutely LOVE this tune, Wasting and My World (first tunes I ever bought on audiojelly.com ^^)!!
Hope Amsterdam comes out on an mp3 download store soon, need to buy that as well.

funny thing, as this seems to be so personal to luminary: i'm leaving to n.y. trying to forget about a relationship... "amsterdam" seems to be the soundtrack of my life for now - together with dogzillas "without you"...

Dark Eyes was signed along with My World to Lost Language, it was due to go on a flip side, but then the whole release got changed with additional remixes so that track got sidelined.
It ended up going on the Exhibitions II compilation and is also available as a digital download on the city16.com website.
We also felt that because of this we would allow the track in its entirety to stream on the Luminary website, all the clips on the luminary run at 192kbps mp3 format.
