Thank you guys for the posts and calls: u guys rawk...I went to the doctor and everything seems ok - but he also wanted to make sure I am seeing the dentist for xrays. This is to happen on Monday. The left side of my jaw is still not doing so well - cannot chew on that side -but the doctor seems to think that will pass...
The driver will be charged for drinking and driving and assult. Thank you Muzzybear for the offer to come to court with me - I love ya girl!

ing awesome. It is so good to hear that ppl actually care and try to do something when they see or are faced w/ events like this. Truly inspiration Penny! You're ing awesome babe! A lessor person would have said IT and just whent on about their business.
You have soooooo much respect from me. I cant stand drunk drivers or drinking and driving. Incredibly wrong.
Kudos on being a completely stand-up top-notch citizen and person all around.

one of my buddies just lost his mom to a drunk driver a few weeks back. Since then I've sworn to beat the sh*t out of anyone I see going overboard on drinks and trying to drive. I have one housemate that's a idiot and does it a fair bit and I've told him point blank that I will put him in the hospital, for days, if I ever even suspect he's done it again. And I have no problem what so ever explaining this to a judge should I get changed with assult. A car is a weapon and as likely to kill as a gun when in the wrong hands.

My dear Penny, I'm so happy to hear you did that!!!! I love hearing stories of people stopping others from drunk driving by taking away their keys. I love that ad on TV where the parents come home to a crazy house party and they're getting all upset until they see their son with all these keys tied to his hand. Then they smiled and walked away. :D You're a hero, girl! :toocool:
Even at Nada's cottage party there was this girl who was totally wasted and when I heard that she was going to her car I just followed her. She said she had to go home so I made sure I stuck with her and eventually took her keys from her. Then she starting to become a violent bitch and I didn't know what to do in that situation, especially when her friends came to support her. I returned her keys but was now totally worried and actually felt responsible for any negative consequences that might have occurred if she actually took her car out.
Then MY valiant knight, Dru (DJ Endgame) walks out and asks me what's wrong. This is like 2 minutes before he was gonna start his set. And he says not to worry and takes his car and parks it RIGHT behind hers. ing genius. The girl ended up sleeping the night and was fine in the morning. |

Fay-bitch, you and Drew are my heroes too. Thats ing awesome. Awesome for you to try and awesome that at THAT moment drew came out and that he had that ing AWESOME idea. I ing love it. im glad it worked and she ended up sleeping and not driving.
