i just gave one of my bosses a five minute computer demonstration about the different ways to put documents into a folder. im really worried about the fate of the company if one of my bosses cant figure out something as simple as that.
anyone else have some stupid moments about their bosses or maybe co-workers? |

get a call for tech-support. "my monitor wont turn on"
go down there
they wiggle the mouse in frustration and hit the keys a few times.
"see, nothing! this is ridiculous I cant do my job in conditions like this!"
*reaches down, turns on computer*
*uncomfortable silence as they make excuses* |

| did you try helping them make excuses so they dont feel like dumbasses. "um windows has a security measure where it automatically turns everything off if um...things arent right and stuff." |

No. It was that crazy stare you get when you cant even believe youre where you are and you have no idea what to say, because there isnt anything TO say.
I cant even tell you how many times ive walked in, hit a power button, nothing happens, and I plug the damn thing in. People are so frigging retarded |

my boss is a tard, he runs an IT staffing company and doesn't know how to use a computer :haha: :haha:
can't even ing check his email, it prints out out for him |

yeah...im still shocked. My dad started Denali Advanced Integration in Seattle and was fastest growing tech consulting firm in west coast history.
yesterday he couldnt get his speakers to work (I plugged them into the hole with speakers picture instead of microphone picture)
hes asked me to download things onto CD
sometimes he cant login and its because the password is gone...whats your password? I dont know.....well how the would *I* know?!! figure it out!
20 years of IBM west coast large projects division leadership, 5 years of tech consulting...and its been 15 years of @ home tech support for me. |

| We are waiting for the bosses to give us some papers (to make stuff, like doors, and stairs and so on) but he didn't know how to print his drawings... the bosses are saying there is alot of work, but we don't get our papers, so there isn't much work for us :rolleyes: |

| My dad is my boss & he is ing stupid. On a daily basis I have to deal with customer orders that he s up. |

haha seriously...funny thing is though, that it gets printed automatically. so someone has to go through and throw away the junk emails lol
oh man, there was this time when we were hiring an admin assistant...but my boss, being the genius he is, wanted someone with a 4 year degree
so we get an email that says, "Why the hell would anyone with a 4-year degree take an office bitch position like this? Dumbasses."
man i wish we gave that email to him...would have been great :sadgreen: |
