The past 2 days I've been unable to log into my MSN...I've Emailed their tech support and they said to check my "connection" seetings with the HTTP Proxy settings...Well I've ed around with those settings and STILL can't get loged in:mad:...Even with all my firewalls and whatever else turned off I still can't get MSN...I can't even access the "MSN Messenger" website:nervous: ...Anybody else have problems with MSN???....I did Google this problem and there are people with the same problem but the cures aren't helping my situation....
Any ideas???...I have a load of contacts too that I think I may loose:sadgreen: |

The odds of you running into Bill Gates, in a dark alley, all alone, are very, VERY high. |

There are apparently issues right now if you are using Rogers and have an IP address that starts with 24.*. A router between the Rogers network and Microsoft's servers is not passing the traffic on correctly.
So it's not really either Rogers' or Microsoft's fault... but with the network in between the two.
Affected services include MSN, Hotmail and Windows Updates. |

| Whats weird is that when I click "help" when the "...unable to sign you in..." pops up, the "page cannot be displayed" window comes up...There are other MSN sites that I can't get to either...WHat is also strange is that my Yahoo Toolbar won't sign in also which had a load of my bookmarks too:mad: |

| Latest update...I called Rogers just now & got someone who was able to help me (not like last nite when some flunky couldn't do anything)...Anyway he gave me another "Proxy" address using port 8080 which has enabled me to log into MSN...WOOOOHOOOOO:tongue2 |
