but purchasing and consuming cocaine or any controlled substance, you are creating and supporting a demand for illicit substances, which are then supported by organized crime. So by consuming coke, she's given a big 'thumbs up' to the russian mafia.

If it were legalized however....

then stop buying oil products or diamonds or just about any other comercial product.

I am opposed on point of principle to the draconian drug laws, but that doesn't change the fact that there is a HUGE difference between saying you did drugs and actually getting caught with them.

A confession is only valid if it's made to a police officer (after one is read his/her rights), or on the stand in court. Otherwise it is hearsay, and even if it was done on live TV or something like that, there's no proof that the confession was made in "good faith".

Undercover reporters went into Buzz nightclub in DC w/hidden cameras, recording in black & white crappy, grainy quality image. They did expose some problems (the biggest fiasco were the cops present who did nothing, and some were in fact married and making out w/young raver girls on the job), but they tried to show people 'passed out in their own vomit' (which u could not see), and tried to make a claim that a table COVERED in a white powder (she was scooping up handfuls of it) must've been an illegal substance. < I mean, how stupid does she think we are?? If that gigantic pile of white powder were really drugs at all, do u think they woulda been left behind???? She coulda spilled an entire bottle of baby powder on the table, and we're supposed to believe it was drugs on her 'word' alone. I dont think so!

We expect rock stars to be perfect citizens but meanwhile what made them famous was their badass ways in the first place.

EXACTLY. Just because you're famous does not mean you HAVE to assume the onerous burden of being a positive role model.

Sure it's great if you do, but that doesn't mean you should be expected to do that. That's bull and unfair. They have every right to be just as un-perfect as you and I are and act in our daily lives.

Except when your contract says you have to be drug free. Then you're taking money for something that you're not. I have a problem with that. If someone paid me to wear clothes and not have a drug habit I wouldn't. But they don't. So I will.

Granted, it sucks that she got caught in a recording studio, which is private property, but keep it in the bathroom, so no one will catch you.

(oh, crap, she's free... and all over my TV)

martha is a champion.

she made more money in jail than out of jail.

now she is going to be even more rich with the new show.

martha will bounce back like nothing happened. she is one person that sure can make lemonade when likfe gives her lemons. and it will be the best tasting lemonade in the world.

what concerns me about kate moss is that she has a kid.

how tragic.

once you are responsible for another life, your life must be adjusted accordingly.

don't do drugs because you might die, or have your kid taken away, or hurt the kid for some reason.

Kate Moss is a ing legend, and has upped her score in the UK by 10 points since this coke "fiasco", not to mention lovely publicity just in time for London Fashion Week.
