Omg. I found the "black book" that I had going four years ago!

I was digging around in the bottom drawer of my dresser in search of one of my old leather belts... and I ran across my "black book" from my first year of college, which was over four years ago. Some of the girls in there, I still talk to. Others, however, I lost touch with along the way.
I appeal to the CORe, now, in search of an answer to the burning question...
Do I start calling chicks out of the blue after four years of not speaking to them... or is that just weird? I imagine that several of them (possibly all) are in relationships, married, might have kids, etc.
I dunno. This is really weird. Just seeing the names brought back a LOT of interesting memories.
Ideas? I'm hung up, here. |

well you could just call them up and say you just found their number again after a long time and figured what the and you called to see what was new.
at least that way there is an explanation why you are calling out of the blue so as to not weird them out, and plus thats a good conversation starter.
id say it do it, maybe one of them will be flattered you called after such a long time or something. |

I was thinking the same thing at first... but I was also a bit of a prick back then. I fear that most of these girls are going to go, "Yeah... You're that ****** that fooled around with me at that party and then never called me again."

| If some guy from four years ago suddenly called me, I'd think he was weird. There's usually a reason you lose touch with you. Usually, it's because neither of you gave a enough about each other to stay in touch. Clearly, if they weren't important to you then, why would you suddenly pick up the phone and call? |

guys mainly do this because we are masochistic and we are also wondering if in 4 years something changed/we are notliking enough of eachother to hang out and maybe get hooked up with eachothers social circles.
Im learning more and more these days that knowing people is more important than knowing things. |
