In fact, I recall this being the song in the background when I had my first cigarette at the tender age of 18...god bless Pearl Jam.

ok, you have NO idea on how jealous I am of all this U2/Pearl Jam stuff right now :(

But Vedder is amazing with Pearl Jam and he made Temple of the Dog.. they wouldn't have been the same without him!! :)

Quite possibly one of the best concerts this summer, though I didn't attend any of U2's tour de force, due to The White Stripes concert on Friday and leaving little cash for a third concert this weekend(wonder what song U2 played with Vedder on Saturday night, if anyone knows?). Anyhow Bono came out on stage to return the favour tonight and sang "Keep On Rocking In The Free World" (original Neil Young). Vedder made alot of jokes about how grateful he was for U2 to open up for them this past week and mentioned Bono's name a few times throughout the night, I guess it wasnt really a surprise that he came at the end.

Eddie Vedder was funny in his incoherent and mumbling way, charming the crowd with his rendition of "You got to hide your love away" and screwing it up at the end on the harmonica, where he said "", then continued again, and threw the harmonica on the floor, smashing it completely. Blaming it on loads of Red Wine, he was really embarrased, but kept his composure for a few more songs and finale.

Other than Green Day, who put on a heck of a live show, this was definately a good show with loads of ENERGY from an unsuspecting and usually dormant Toronto crowd. I guess this week has really pumped up the Toronto rock crowds and they gave PJ some of the craziest energy i've ever laid witness to at the ACC.

Depends on the band, for some indie or new alternative bands, you get really crazy crowds, The White Stripes concert was one of those concerts, Jack White even commented how he hadnt heard a crowd so crazy since being in Brazil some time back. But when it comes to bands who now have a much older crowd, you tend to see people more calmer, plus there was no general admission = no crowdsurfer, no moshing...etc. For a Pearl Jam concert, it was very energetic, I saw older people going absolutely ballistic.

I've got to say this... I LOVE TRANCE, BUT MY HEART BELONGS TO ROCK & ROLL!!

Please someone confirm this (I may have been dreaming) Bono & Eddie playing acoustic to "Harvest Moon"

Truly an amazing nite... PEARL JAM has always been a band for the people. who else nearly plays a 3 hour concert!!!

A buddy picked up some last second tickets a few months ago, thinking that the seat will suck, and there is no point in taking a camera because we'll be to far away... STUPID! STUPID!! STUPID!!!!

The seats we had were at the back corner - right on top of the stage. the Pit where Bono was sitting was in spitting distance, also we had a cear view of the entire stadium & Stage!!

The up with the harmonica and blaming the wine is not going to be hard to forget!!

And to top of the night, the super exteded version of "keep on Rock'n in a free world"!!! Bono came out to sing, eveyone in the ACC was on there feet jumping - you could feel the floor shake!!!

chuckle for the night - the guy who got owned by the Bouncer while trying to run up on stage!! i swear the guy flew at least 15 feet back. And he then gets up and makes a run for the exit, while half the security in the place ran after him.

OMG!!! next time, im going to be there Front & Center!!

its 1pm tuesday... and i can still see the concert

ROCK ON... ROCK THE FAAAAWK ON!!
