Exactly, you have an entire afternoon to put all the dj's on yet in the end you put them on at all the same time. You can't advertise tyhese guys as draw cards and then p[ut them on at the same time.... the bodyrockers i want lopez mainstage

Sniffer dogs to target Summadayze

Police sniffer dogs will be out in force at the annual Summadayze dance festival at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on New Year's Day in an attempt to stop drug trafficking.
Police said there would also be a "significant police presence" inside the Music Bowl and in surrounding areas of the Kings Domain and Royal Botanic Gardens.
There was a culture among "the dance scene" that illicit drug use at Summadayze was acceptable, Victoria Police superintendent Mick Williams said.
"These drugs contain potent mixtures and to, put it bluntly, they are insidious.
"We are encouraging people to act in an appropriate and responsible manner," said Superintendent Williams.
The recovery party of choice for thousands of Melburnians, Summadayze has sold out this year. Headline acts this year include Fatboy Slim and Roger Sanchez.
There will also be a drug bus operating near The Botanic Gardens during the day and night of the festival, in an effort to catch drivers using illicit drugs.
Organisers of the event, Future Entertainment, could not be reached for comment on whether drugs had caused problems at previous Summadayze events.
Penalties for trafficking illicit drugs include a maximum fine of $3,000 or up to 15 year's jail, while a maximum fine for possession is $500.

I been working my ass off doing promo for Perth Summadayze and it seems like it's paying off. 'Industry' tickets are all sold out and hopefully we'll get an extra thousand or so people going compared to last year.
The best part of my job: getting paid to organise chicks to wear tight t-shirts and hand out fliers.:happy2: |
