| you can post the tracklist of your mix, but not the mix itself. remember, pm me when you want to upload. |

| Oh, I thought it would be done similar to the MPFS comp I am entering at the same time, where the entered mixes remain anonymous to keep the judge's views fair and void of nepotism :conf: |

| Yeah ... we had a comp like that once ... but this is a bit different mate |

And thats only 80min ???? |

80 Mins yes
BPM is around 160 maybe even faster. Plus some tracks only play for like 1-2 minutes also.
You may think wow too fast or wow 2 mins a track, but this is how the dj's in ireleand back in 94 done it, so too truly give me the memories and to try and recapture the spirit of those old tapes I mixed it this way.
And i hope whoever gets to listen to the mix can get the same feelings me and so many other irish clubbers got when legends of trance x-ray and sci used to throw down these tracks.
Respect to the producers and labels also for creating some of the greatest tunes ever.

Yeah you can mix 2-3 times the amount of tracks when you don't have to worry about beatmatching. |

| If there are any judge's spots open, I would definitely enjoy helping to decide this competeition. |

I understand what you are saying but the same amount of tracks could be put in 80mins from vinyl or CD easily. It takes only 30-40 seconds to match beats in a decent enough mixing fashion. and since your gonna let a track play for at least 3 minutes anyway it is just as easy to do it on the vinyl :D
I think you need to understand that the sync button in traktor doesnt get the beats matched perfectly, u still HAVE to do some manual adjustments.
And since traktor relies on software, over 18 of those tracks above i had to mix manually as traktor gave me (as an example) 162 BPM for one track and 85 BPM for another because the original tracks are so fast and it obviously cannot gauge the correct BPM.
If you use traktor youll know that means the sync button wont work, it will speed 85 BPM track up to 162BPM and it make the 85BPM track sound like a breakdown / GABBA. |
