Showed up around 11. Had a whole lot of people wanting to come, planning to come, flaking at last second. Flaking is def. my biggest pet peave... anyways, lines were LONG, place was PACKED...
I don't really know how many people were there for max. i know on broadway generally has really good turn outs. the dance floor was packed when max came on. def. one of the better sets i've seen him play. big seb fontaine-esk prog house.
i do think our friend max had a lot to drink, he was playing w/ the volume faders a lot, just kind of screwing around. his mixing was effortless, i felt like he had the headphones on maybe for 30sec during each song.
i did step downstairs here & there, so i didn't hear all of his set. although i didn't hear any of his big tracks...
edit:
oh yeah i remember him playing:
Max Graham - Crank
Killers - Mr. Brightside(thin white duke remix)
Mack Vibe – Can’t Let You Go (max graham remix) |

Didn't make it out last night. I had a date with my couch. |

i always play with the volume - loud is relative to quiet so i think its integral to lower the volume regularly, makes the loud peaks seem that much bigger. i didn't play mack vibe or crank. and i only had about 5 corona's, not that that has anything to do with my set at all.

mmm, what was the vocal track you played at the end(2nd to last song)? (angello?)
and the above was simply critcism, i stated my opinions on what i liked from you and what i didn't. |

| im well aware it was criticism, i'm asking you what corona's have to do with my djing since you included that in your review in such a way that implies it did. |

i thought the fader moving was associated w/ the beer. i've seen you @ avalon in boston before and don't remember you doing that. if its something you've always done then, point taken. |

Wow, really? I've seen him couple of times - at WMC this past year and once in Chicago and both times were great! Oh yea, and I almost forgot, I saw him few years back in Vegas over Memorial Day in Vegas for this awesome after hours on top of the Rio Hotel.....that was actually my 1st time seeing him. To each his own though.... :) |
