Hold on...if you can mention wanting to hear Luther Vandross - Can Heaven Wait (Matthew Dekay remix), then I can mention Taurus (it really is a pretty cool track to hear live). Both are a bit cheesy but wouldn't mind hearing either. I have about 30+ MD tracks and a ton of his live sets, so I think I will be pretty happy hearing about anything, considering I missed him at the WMC and have never seen him live.
And yes, Myra, the Deep Show would be cool, especially the DJ Remy remix. I'll also add God's Answer and What If to the previous list. I bet Beatomatic would be booming in a club. |

Even though, after listening to it more it grows on me, this has to be one of my personal biggest disappointments of the year. It just doesn't really go anywhere, and even though I absolutely LOVE when the keys come in, the payoff is so short lived... I guess it just bothers me that I feel like it feels "unfinished," and that there could be a little more to it...
But whatever, I'll take either remix of "The Deep Show" and be real in' happy... :D
Also, while we're making our wishlists for the evening, I'm going to go with a classic, one of my favorite Dekay tracks: Passion.

the DJ Remy remix of The Deep Show is so weak compared to the original. he basically took out all of the elements of the original that i like, and just turned it into a boring song that doesn't go anywhere. i mean, it doesn't hurt my ears to listen to it... it's just that the original is so good and you could really do something cool with it in a remix, so i was just expecting something wayyyy better.
btw, does anyone know why on PureFuture it says $10 before 11pm but when you go to the RSVP page it doesn't have a selection for this event? |
