Hiya
My gf just moved here recently from Ottawa. She's 21, bilingual, finished college, and is here for the next two years while I finish school. We've been going through Jobshark, and other similar online references, but it's been kind of slow. If anyone knows of any place to apply for a job, or that is hiring, we'd be forever indebted to you all. Any help is extremely appreciated, as she'd like to get something ASAP.

THanks a bunch :D

Yeah, I think she's pretty hot, she's got a really nice smile, but be an @$$ and she'll cut your b@77s off :p
She's bilingual, so in this Country, I assumed everyone would see that as speaking and writing both French and English. She speaks Serbo-croatian as well.
She finished Human Sciences - Administration in college. The way they do it in Quebec, you go to college for whatever, then university. She finished her first year of Accounting in Univ.

so really she's trilingual.
give your girl props when its due (selling her short by mentioning she's only bilingual). ;)

find out what she wants to do then get her to go get a job in it.

I just approach whatever kind of job I want, find out if they are hiring and then apply anyway to a bunch of such places.
Even if they aren't hiring, they'll keep you in mind as someone who really wants the job and is willing to go out of thier way to get it and will hold you in high regard when something does become available.
even if doesn't work why not. you have to try somewhere and you may as well pick where you want it to be and give it a shot... got nothing to loose only results to gain.

I have a friend who works as a recruiter for bilingually talented people. He's usually got some jobs open
