the class is an auditorium style thing. doors at the top-back (on 2 sides), and 2 at the bottom-front (again, on 2 sides). 2 aisles run down, with one cross-section aisle midway down, after the steps. so what you're saying is tricky. either way i'm gonna need some luck. if it wasn't for that ing ride today...

You don't have to be james bond to do this.....hell just sit next to an aisle in view first.

If she really dug you and wants to chat with you again she will find you.

The key is to sit in an accessible place.

you my friend have played it smart. 1.) generally people sit in the same exact seat all semester. 2.) she will feel comfortable if you were to sit next to her next class 3.) if she walks in and immediatly sees you first, she'll walk over to feel comfortable w/ all those people

u played it smart by acting as if she wasn't hot and that she was just another girl that sat next to you. next class BE SURE to sit next to her, even if u have to save a seat. get her # after class...

AM I EVER GOIN TO GET PAID FOR THIS ADVICE?

Just an update for anyone who might care:

Things went un-smooth, but not horrid either. I sat in a reasonably accessible but not super-obvious spot near where we sat last time (not on the edge of the aisle or anything). Saved her a potential spot with my backpack on a seat, so as not to make it obvious. I wasn't exactly looking around to spot her, so as not to look obvious again (if you haven't guessed by now, I never like to be obvious outside of a conversation with a girl).

10 minutes into class, I spotted her at the edge of the aisle. I noticed her spot me, but I acted "pre-occupied" with the class lesson, so as not to look like I am either ignoring her, or paying attention to her. Nothing else happened. She left basically immediately after class, so I didn't even have a chance to walk around and pull any "hey whatsup, how was class" moves.

I'm thinking I shoulda maybe went over and talked to her during mid-class break, but I'm a noob, so I'm not sure.

So yea. That sucked. Oh well.

Your only option now is to run her over with your car.

hmm.. perhaps your "pre-occupation" stint made her think you weren't interested or something... i dunno. If you made eye contact for a split second and then went back to "studying" the lesson plan, she might've thought "jeez what a jerk, lol OMG noob! wtf"

either that or she could be playing hard to get.
Turbonium
I figure that next time, I'll just talk to her either way or acknowledge her somehow, just to get rid of any "jerk" stigma she may have about me. After that if anything is gonna happen or should happen, it will on its own.

Only thing is, why was she sitting next to the aisle? Was either random chance, trying to pull what I was trying to pull, or she wanted to leave class FAST.
Mebot
i would give her the benefit of the doubt. She might have had to leave to go do something.. It's disheartening to be pessimisstic and assume she fled to avoid you.

I would like to think she had to leave to go meet her boyfriend for lunch. That would be more plausible. :wtf:

haha you're SO wrong. Who eats lunch at 10PM??!?

P.S. I'll probably have better luck with studious girls in the libarary, considering I live there now.

There's no "after class". It's a frigging night class, I know she walks home right after. And NO, I'm not gonna follow her. :p
