ok.. so it is a little late but better than never :)
OMG.. can we say dance all night.. pulling leg muscles, cramping, sore feet and anything else to go along with this!!!
Both Jelo and Liberators sets were off the hook... hardcore, dirty beats. God how I love all this techno.. just can't get enough of it lately.. although I don't think my body could handle dancing to it on a regular basis... hehe :)
Jelo has such great interaction with the crowd... shouting, jumping and just a movin... damn! and Liberator.. wow did he ever get excited!!!
Definitely one of my better nights out lately hands down! sorry some of you had to miss this event :(
anyhow.. as I had posted previously.. I did have a surprise show up and yes my surprise was Sasha (niveole). He was on roll call but had messaged me prior to leaving that he wasn't going to be able to make it.. so when I look up to see him standing in front of me.. I was a happy camper! :)
Sasha, you are such a sweetie.. thank you and I now know the reason! ;) You certainly are a true trooper.. work, school, partying.. I don't know how you do it! Can't wait for the 9yr party :)
Killah Monkey.. girl.. you are a doll.. thanks again for the ride and the great times.. our first party together.. mark your calender and let the games begin :D
Karen and Kelly.. it was good to party it up with you again.. it has been way too long since the last outting!
TranceGrooves... sorry to hear about your foot hun.. but you were really motorin on the dance floor too this time round eh? I guess techno really is your thing :D

Cosmic Fur.. it was a pleasure meeting you.. but for the record.. sometimes you do need to take a break.. your body will thank you later and not be so sore maybe ;)
and it was good to see tordan, shanny, irishaddict, plump funk, time2burn, chemEnhanced (good to finally meet you), swamper, naesean3, trancechaos, max q, house_conxection, playa24_7 and I am sure I am still missing a few of you, but partying all weekend long.. I am starting to get mixed up on who was at what party :p
Either way.. TOTA's representin and wicked times all around!

man fun the liberator def lived up to his name , cant beleiev they played last night a dj saved my life made me soo happy unabomber was also very good loved the b2b. left systems at like 7 and man was i tired sat was def recovery night.
fun times with ta's and of course we owned the floor

Sasha and Jen, what is this telling me to take a break business? WTF? :p Are we addicts or not? Besides, I took TWO 10 minute breaks, so there! Although the only reason I took them was because I was pretty sure if I didn't stop I was gonna collapse.
My body was fine by the afternoon, so it's all great. |

Friday night at Systems was just so good I still can't get it out of my mind. And to think I wasn't even gonna go!!
DJ ISIS got us off to a good start. She dropped some good tunes to get everyone going. Then Jelo came on and absolutely destroyed the place. Half way through his set I look around me and think to myself, what I am doing at systems? I'm used to hearing beats this dirty at CoZo. :) Set of the night for me. I danced so hard to his entire set that I was afraid I'd have no energy by the time Chris came on.
Luckily I was able to tap into my vast amount of stored energy and go nuts for Chris Liberator as well. Holy moly... sooo much techno!!! I thought I died and went to heaven. I hadn't experienced that sort of banging techno since I saw Chris Liebing a few years back. To make things even more interesting, Unabomer joined Chris for a B2B session. I've seen Unabomber before and he's CRAZY... now put the two together and you have pure INSANITY!!! Tracks like born slippy and smack my bitch up were played... enough said! :D And finally Greg Gow came on and turned it down a bit but a good set nonetheless.
I was glad to see a good TA turnout. We owned that dance floor as usual. :) I wanna give a shoutout to everyone I partied with last night. b4k-oz, Cuzo, dance2dabeat, Dancing*Queen, E2EK1EL, feems, house_conXion, Irishaddict, killah monkey (nice meeting you for the first time), magikb, niveole, Playa_24/7, Plump Funk, shanny, Time2Burn, trancechaos, TranceGrooves, Swamper, dEsidEL, naesean3, Max Q & Chem Enhanced. Hope I got everyone... very sorry if I missed any of you.
This was definitely a night to remember. We need more nights like this at Systems. How about bringing in Chris Liebing next time? ;) |

A little late but here it goes....
It was a great time at system on friday night. Thanks to karen for convincing me to go and figuring out a way around that whole "pay to get in" idea.
System was great, there were so many people there partying and having fun that the vibe really ruled the night.
I thought Liberators set was ok, lots of good techno, but not being the hugest techno fan i got a little bored, and tired towards the end.
It was great to party with so many TA's all night long though! |
