well, I dont know much about trance, but I like how its a bit more complex than I was expecting and the breakbeat at the end is a nice surprise - halfway through, I was wondering what he was going to do with the rest of the track, because it was starting to get a bit monotonous.

and thus completes my trance listening requirements for 2005.

I think the guys definitely skilled. I like the song, especially when it broke into breakbeats. The breakbeats were a nice way to balance all the pounding.

Comme l'a dit Skipper, ca devient un peu redondant et ca manque un peu de profondeur, mais en général c'est un bon travail de production.
Je trouve que ca sonne comme du vieux Paul Van Dyk 2001-2002. Old school beat!!
J'ai trouvé bizarre le petit effect ''skip'' a 1m20s, c'est étrange comment ca sonne.

To be honest it's pretty sick...but i find it VERY repetitive, it needs something more. With a little work I could see it being played by some top djs.

the cutoffs at 1:20 are ugly... redo them with soundforge using the effect gapper/snipper or noise gate... forgot which one... play with it.. or delete the part and replace with smooth samples from those instruments used to created that effect
same thing at 3:24...
but at 5:31 it worked well

at 6:00 i noticed a compression of the peaks... I don'T know if its just the mp3 or its the original song that was made like but... but no song released should have a compression of peaks. (there might be other places in the track that has this compression)

PS: the bass line is ok but i'm sure you can make a better one... try inspiring of Airbase's bassline in "Hunting 2004" for example.
the track could get more raging energy from that.

my opinion look negative ... but this is a song that i would buy the record if it is released...

amazing beat.. yet the breakdown is preatty ... the only part in the breakdown that saved it was the breakbeat...

jconnais rien au trance
sauf que pour du trance c peurf mais faut qui travaille la compression et autres.... le son drop a des bouts

first its obvious that i cant juge if its a good ''trance track''
but... i can juge the sound

when the track starts, the kick is good, ambiance too
but then when the line starts, the kick looses some power and seem to get it back a bit...just if like the volume was taken down & high

maybe he could lower the bass volume to get more power from the kick

i dont like trance, but until the first breakdown im not bored at all because he keeps a good ambiance

the little breakbeat in the first breakdown should be longer cause it sounds really good

the gapper/snipper effects are handled well enough imo

the main problem is really the kick that looses power at some points in the track... maybe some frequency is lowering it

after listening to the complete track, i can say that its not that repetitive
the melody is not really original... i mean im pretty sure it can be trance and sound less like the usual trancy pattern that doesnt stand out imo
work on the compression, volumes of lines
for the cuts, i think u could do it without effects just cutting it directly on the track and funkin it

anyway continue like that theres a lot of potential imo

:D

The 1:20 part was a bit weird, but it's tolerable. Leave it.

The same thing at 3:24 killed the mood in my opinion; feels like the whole track just restarted from scratch. You've built up this far, why did you go down? If I was dancing to this, I would be taking a break right now.

If he can fix the latter, we have a good track on our hands.
