i know the discog owners and operators browse this forum, but i really really really think they should put samples attached to each track.

i mean how much better of a site would it be w/ samples?

You have any idea how much bandwidth that would take?

they're a hub for EDM right now... they would really seperate themselves from everyone if they did that. i mean it would be the amazon of EDM.

I don't see it happening. One, that means a load of samples need to be made, which would be particularly hard considering the rarity of some vinyls, especially those that are owned only by users who rarely visit Discogs.

In addition, someone would need to foot the bill for the bandwidth and legal fees. Ain't gonna happen.

Yes, and how much do you think that would cost?? I like discogs the way it is at the moment. If they were to start putting samples on everything then you'd most likely have to pay a membership fee to browse the site. Not realy worth it IMO....
bananas
that's impossible

What Discogs SHOULD do is hire more people. The update rate is completely ridiculous.

what everyone who complians about discogs should do is go and buy a premium membership if they haven't already.

That's basically just donating money, they don't offer anything good for it. :p

Well, complaints are an essential part of the development and evolution of systems.
