hip-hop culture is urban, therefore skateboarding could be a part of it. mos def's video for ghetto rock has skaters in it :p and i remmember in one the documentaries about De La Soul and Jedi Mind Tricks they all talked about skateboarding even though it's usually attributed to punk rock. |

3 feet high and rising is an excellent album though if you want something more up to date definatly check out AOI: bionix.
one hip-hop group that i haven't seen mentioned yet are the roots, who i think are excellent though large commercial success eluded them. |

| To me , Kanye West sounds really inspirational . His songs from Late Registration album are good . "Addiction " sounds really good . As much as I dont like rap , Kanye is a great artist . Could someone recommend me similiar artists? |
