does anyone else get annoyed when your havin a wicked night listening to a quality dj and goin mental on the dancefloor and a pissed up/wasted to the max under age kid continually falls into you and your friends all night!!!?
there are so many of these idiots around!
fair enough at the local cattle market where they play 'ja rule' but not at a respected trance night...
it seems that we, as trance lovers are lumbered with the majority of dysfunctional youths(who are there for the drugs and not the music) when we go out to clubs...
what you guys recon on this? |

Trance has always been the #1 extasy music, I dont think that will change for a very long time. Alot of the styles that have had surges of popularity since 1999 partially have trance to thank for their succes, since so many people wanted to distance themselves from drugs they switched over to music that was purposely less appealing to ppl who go rolling at parties. Think about it, the new styles are much more appealing to alcohol users than ex users.
I dont think trance music could exist without drugs, it is really sad, but apparently most of the friendly atmosphere and the general kindness among the ppl at these parties appears to be drug induced rather than some special affect that the music has. You are right that the majority of kids who like to get obnoxiosly ed up at parties like to do it to trance music.
I have never seen a "respected trance night" before, all the trance parties I have ever been to were either at somebody's house out in the country, at some really trashy converted warehouse concrete floor type club, or at some really vain and trendy place where everybody acts like they are still in high school.
Funy thing about the huge departure from trance, kids have switched it out for DnB near where I live and now there is a meth problem cuz alot of rednecks like to do meth then flail about to some grimey DnB. I would much rather deal with kids rolling at trance parties then ppl on meth, that stuff seems to be much more dangerous to be around. There aren't very many parties around that dont revolve around one drug or another. |

when i go to edm events at proper clubs, i dont drink and mind myself..

Yeah mate ive seen it happen....ive seen minors get too wasted and make a complete bollock head of themselves on the dancefloor... and around the club...but still ive seen grown up men and women proberly 10 years older than me (im 19) doing the same thing..i dont know why they do it...or those ppl hu laff at you whilst your dancing.. i feel like saying...." ive waited months and months...worked my arse off to come for this amazing party and im dancing to a talented dj and he has dropped my favourite tune...so im going ing mentalist and having a good time..rather than you ed up childish leightweights hu have nuthing btr than to just laff at me....get a ing life or off " but in reality i didnt say nefin coz the tunes wer to good to miss...
so wat im saying is yeah it does cheese me off when i see this.... |

| Personally the best party ive been to with hundered percent positive vibes and no drugged out kids was Paul Van Dyk live at Central Park...everyone was there just to enjoy the music and everyone was so kind to eachother...my kind of party....its one of those parties that you think of everyday because it was so good |

wow being the onyl one here to represent underage clubbing, ive never had a problem with anyone in a club and generally am there clubbing with people 18+
it is unfortunate a lot act like jerks, but then you realize a lot of people your own age do it too, adding to the age argument your thinking, theres an age for a reason - i didnt spend my hard earned money to party with my younger brothers freinds.. etc etc etc..
im not saying im exempt from rules, but ive been clubbing since i was 14 and have neevr had a problem with anyone and am usually on a list or invited, or was when i lived in peru, i suggest you go to a club with a better door policy.
i know theres no way i would have been allowed in if i dressed like a slob or acted immature, so yeah, find a new club? |

can't vouch for in clubs, but there are a lot of trouble makers here nowadays, it's the general death of society that has raised them tho, their parents dont give a , so from a young age they develop rough ways which they carry on, there's a kid at my cousins school who stabbed about 6 kids with pens just cos they were standing infront of them in the dinner line, and they were all 3 years older than him too. |
