Hmmm I think I need to find somewhere that has all of these and demo each of them and do some real testing and comparison... Thanks for all the suggestions so far...
I'm not sure if it's me, but I just feel like that since none of the new ones people are suggesting go down to 5Hz that I won't get the deep smooth bass performance that I get with the 700's? but it might just be my thoughts...! |
hmm there are a lot better sounding headphones out there and most people complain about the bass of the 700s. and ithink if you base your decision on numbers in the spec sheet, ur not making a very educated decision.
i would check out some more. but if u want the 700s.. be my guest. |

The Sony's dynamic range is 5 - 30,000Hz... Everything else I've seen so far (even $500 or $1000 headphones) does not have a closely comparable range to that. Everything is either 10 or 8 or 15 to 25,000 or 28,000...

you know, you can probably only hear up to 20 khz anyways. they say 30 khz is just to make it look better than it is. |

The bass in them is utter garbage... |

Yeaaa this is prolly the millionth post about headphones, but whatever... :D
So my Sony MVR-D700DJs are broke (as in, the plastic is cracked and the leather is cracked, etc. but still sounds great).
I was looking for new headphones... |
Look for more power on your computer. Am pushing 900W of sheer power off of this one, so headphones are out there in left field somewhere in some forgotten place...
Remember raw power = raw power...
:D
