Don't think one has been created before (at least not lately), so post any type of poem :nervous:
Here's mine...don't want to get into the details on what it's about..
Uninvited Love
Conclusion of the Summer,
A performance from the star,
First impressions last forever,
To the ones that come from afar.
Progression of time, dependant on the keeper,
The hands move simultaneously, the cycle neverending,
Minutes become hours, a friendship growing strong,
Feelings are unknown, the assurance still pending.
Confusion is in the midst,
The signs are conflicting,
Imagination or reality?,
Too much pain it's inflicting.
Temptation for lust, need for the passion,
Flaws can exist, for me they're perfection,
The costs of taking risks can be worth the rewards,
In your eyes, still I see, my glowing reflection.
Shining even brighter,
The more it's forbidden,
Impossibility only exists,
If the feelings are kept hidden.
Dreams can come true, nightmares can become real,
One hope for my candle, if the fire is lighted,
Unfortunate, the direction of a heart can't be controlled,
A curse I can't escape from this love uninvited.... |
