i'd love to get back into pottery- i discovered it was my secret talent my last year in uni... without any lessons about using the wheel, i made over 20 pieces in one night just because i was curious.. i was totally addicted to it! i'll never forget the look on my ben stein-type teacher the next day when he saw the stuff that i made.. the only time i ever saw some sort of visible emotion from him (but he was an awesome guy, regardless). :wtf: :eyes:
looking forward to continuing it on the side during grad school.

edit: i wish it was a more affordable art. i'd love to have a kiln/wheel in my home.. the equipment costs so much, never mind the price of supplies.. :( |
