uh.... wat about that underground club the Paradise Garage which was popular back in the 80's, that place wasnt glamarous at all and it was legendary

does it seem like 96% of the club is going to be lounge/VIP/fashion-wannabe/attention-ho space?... do we really need a jacuzzi lounge? how about ANOTHER dancefloor with local talent? im not even excited over this club opening up, im just kinda passive about it... seems like theyre totally demolishin any remnants that can be connected with the old SF.... weak.

even the drugfest that was known as Sound Factory in its last few years probably had a better vibe than this bottle-service, attention-whore-lets-get-40y/o-to-buy-us-drinks-and-get-us-a-jacuzzi-booth club thats going to revolve around its VIP.... i signed up for the newsletter, and it said "thank you for registering for the VIP newsletter..."...wtf is a VIP newsletter?... have fun sippin martinis and discussing the latest stock trends, unless they get the right DJs, it doesnt seem like the place for me...

well erick morillo co owns the club and is spinning there 1-2 times a month, that's good enough for me

it's probably gonna be 21+ :(
DJ Eco
ooo definitely... i mean, i love Erick and will go there the 1-2 times a month... but i just dont anticipate them bringing any good DJs that Crobar or Spirit doesnt already book... probably some softer, loungier and funkier house, which i, and New York, could really do without... we need a new venue that makes every1 happy, some1 thatll have a fun, classic house DJ one night, and an awesome trance act the next... it just seems like the PACHA lineups at all their other branches seem pretty one-sided
DJ Eco
not to mention... i love how they give such a subtle picture of what the main floor will look like... theres 2 different views for the blue room... the other lounge areas are shown in great detail, even to what bottles are on the tables... could they give us some type of hint that they actually give a dam about the main floor? i know it sounds like im overly bitching, but it seems like theyve given too much importance to it being "unerringly glamorous" and forgot about the fundamentals of a dance nightclub... well, we'll see when it opens!
