spent most of my time on the boat, coming ashore only to catch little bit of richie and ivan smagghe. the captain is friendly and pretty much leaving us to do whatever we want, as long as we don't leave small plastic bags clogging up the toilet ;)

good sets by gav martin, steve may, dean millson and of course gav keitel. hearing Rhythim Is Rhythim - Strings Of Life is nice too, although i dont really like the remix which was played.

thank i don't have to shell out $85, get wet and spent most of my NYD at home :toothless

I think that Al Mac smashed his head on the roof of the boat too many times.

I had a really great day but I did wonder if I was at Fuggly Fest 2006 at times. The boat was awesome and it was great to see so many familiar faces. Dean played a great set with heaps of "Gyppol" tunes & Steve was in breakdown heaven! Big Kev played his best set ever.

Richie & Magda were awesome. I didnt get to hear their full set but was rocking away having a blast.

Had to leave a little earlier than expected due to brain malfunction & lots of rain. Maybe a little less candy ravers with no teeth would have been good but I am not disappointed I missed Summadayze!

Was also great to catch up with MissyM & Anita!

breakdowns are the new beats

I had a fantastic day, although the weather at the end and the heat inside the metro the night before took it out of me a bit :)

The boat rocked it indeed :) Set of the afternoon was from Big Kev for me. Actually it's the best i have ever heard him play - well done mate (not that you'll really be reading this i guess). Mr May eased everyone into proceedings before smashing them over the head with a massive remix i'm not allowed to mention on the internet ;) Aaron Roach played it a little different than usual but it was good all the same.

Inside early on i caught Craig McWhinney & Matt Radovich throwing down some awesome beats in Planet Hardware. Magda (HOT!) & Richie were great also but by the time i'd finished on the boat i was a tad exhausted to really get into things (although i had a good time being sideways none the less).

MissyM & Anita were a highlight of the afternoon also. Sorry i couldn't come and see Hellraiser at the end :( ;) How was he?

:p

Rain, hail or shine, I'm so glad I was at Sunshine People rather than Summerdayze. Most people I spoke to didn't have too many good things to say about Summerdayze, mainly due to the weather factor.

LOL Liz, candy ravers with no teeth. Some people should come with a WARNING eh haha Like that guy holding a rubber ducky hahaha

Cosmic Gate were great, but my highlights were Richie Hawtin and Magda. They were killing it.

No.1 highlight was HELLRAISER. LOL I was fullfilled!! What a way to start the new year.
Missy and I almost started a mosh pit! I think we scared the ravers haha LOL He's a maniac and definitley knows how to work up a crowd and destroy us with that hard as hell thunder bass! :D :D

Great to see Liz, Dean and Tachyon. ;) :D Ben and Kate, too bad I missed you. ;)
Paulie
