i gave up on a bunch of my friends ealier this year because of the girlfriend thing. i didnt have a problem with their girlfriends but i dont think they liked me because of my "techno rave music". |

lol no. he doesn't work right now and he's in grad school so he lives off student loans and a couple of clients who pay him for personal training. i'm paycheck to paycheck myself, so i can't go to south beach every weekend and blow money. even though i have hook ups and get in to places for free, i still always end up spending a lot on parking n drinks...it sucks. |

it sucks hanging out with couples even though you might enjoy the company of both (either the girl or the guy) and its even worse when you are friends with both and have to deal with their in order to hang out with them. so i choose to not hang out with couples, it makes me realize why im single heheheeh |

i think i'm just going to invite everyone to dinner at the cheesecake factory on my actual bday which is a tuesday night...it's cheap and the menu is huge and the atmosphere is pretty cool.
craig and i haven't hung out with other couples yet, but i want to. it would be perfect because they wouldn't be like our best friends, so i don't think we'd have to deal with any "relationship ". i know what you mean though if it's like your best friend and u start hanging out as a couple...i hate when couples fight in front of friends, it's so rude. |

no i don't. it just happens to follow me around like a little storm cloud:(
actually, if i'm in a fight with my bf and we are about to go out with friends, i am very adamant about dropping it for the night and acting happy. it usually helps us make up anyway and then we can continue the argument the next day when we're too hungover to fight. :stongue: |

| lol no it's not like that. i just don't like to let the whole world know we're fighting. so i either just bite the bullet and say sorry (even if im not in the wrong) or just put on a smiley face for a few hours (and usually forget about it after a few drinks). if it's something really major and i've extremely upset, i'll cancel my plans and not go out because that's when i become self destructive. lol |

| You shouldn't not have the birthday dinner get together just because there's only two other girls. What's it matter? It'll probably be more fun that way anyway. Every weekend I hang out with the same crew and it's always about... 11-16 guys and maybe 2-3 girls (including me). I wouldn't change that for the world. Much more relaxed that way. |

| well my relationship with my boyfriend is pretty new and i just thought he might be like wtf if i have a nice birthday dinner and it's all guys. i wouldn't be too thrilled if it was his bday dinner and it was all these cute pretty girls there. haha that's all i was saying. but i just remembered like 4 other girls who i know and can invite...i'm sure they would come. i had just forgotten about them for a minute cuz we don't hang out all the time. |
