I did download it, and thats that. Metatron is definately on the list for downloadable material, in comparison, i thin Pepa has similar mixing capabilties, yet more trancey style. What kinda junk are you using to mix with? (errr... i mean gear, my s junk, yours is probably catagorized as gear.)

um.. thanks? am i getting my horn tooted too much? :toothless lol. I'd say I've been getting rather lukewarm feedback on this one.. heh. But I'd like to say I put a lot of time in ALL of my mixes. I may not have the best mixing abilities, but I mostly work on creating a whole mix; where each transition is perfect and the mix has an overall theme/effect. I treat each one as if it was to be a mix cd released just like ISOS or TPOD. Actually I find it kind of funny that the big names only release these like once a year, when I've had pretty much no trouble doing it every month and never using the same tracks twice.

My gear is pretty much junk. Just stuff to play around with. I've got a Stanton St8-80, a Beringer Mixer, an American Pro table (not sure what model atm) and a toshiba laptop. but I use traktor to mix and record the mixes you download.

Another extremely enjoyable set, Metatron. I find myself consistently enjoying your sets. No More Conversations is a killer opener. Love the chopped up vocals. Really fun tune. Also majorly digging the Chable remix of These Days and the Epsilon track.

Your mixing is continuing to improve. You did a very solid job with this one. I will be looking forward to your next set, as per usual. :D

Also, I thought your graphic could use your name and a tracklisting, so I took the liberty of making my own and I figured I'd share it. I thought the changing leaves would fit both the season and the set name.

wow man, thanks! looks really good, i'm going to put it on the first post and my site. :D

really glad u do consistently like my mixes given my somewhat inconsistentcy of genres. i've tried to stick to a particular vein, but i've found my tastes to becoming very broad so obviously i try to inject that diversity. anyway, thanks again for the great pic and thanks for listening.

Glad you liked the graphic. Had I known you were going to place it so prominently, I would have taken a bit longer to perfect it. But, gladly, it works decently as is.

As for the "inconsistency" of you sets: the genres may be inconsistent, but the quality of the tracklists always seem to be present. I'm personally not a genre warrior. Good music is good music, bad music is bad music, regardless of the genre. I try to leave it at that.

Cheers again on this set. I'm burning it to CD as I type this so I'll have something good to listen to in the car this afternoon. :D

Well What Can I say mate, Seems like you are the "TA Progressive Master", I'm really surprised by this set in all aspects, Mood, Tracklist, Flow, Transitions, Originality, harmonics, everything i'ts just top notch, to be honest this is the best mix I've heard and enjoy more on the TA forums.

First I listened to the set sitting in front of computer while doing another stuff, then I went to bed and listened to it again, and now I'm listening to it again (Another Day) =), my brother was also here and he asked me "Who is that DJ?", He really enjoyed your set also =).

There are a lot of tracks I didn't know in this mix, starting form the first Track

This is veyr nice track, and a great start, Don't know what exactly you did ther,e a si haven't listrebne dot th eoriginal,m but it sounds great, then the transition into the awesome New Day, and what a great track, I agree with you, then the horowitz, I loved the transition here and the feleing it gave me, just to keep enjoing the mix,

With the ozgur Can and Breathe I felt more the mix got more trippy and steady, I don't know how to explain it, but this feeling was awesome to get you uplifted with the Ian Carey tune.

Well eveyrehtign went fine here, abotu the last Track, I've heard the original Christian Cambas - Paramount, it's mor elike a chill out tune, but Kosmas Epsilon did a great job here, and it was a great track to end the set.

I think the Originality and the flow is what makes this mix outstanding.

Great Sound Metatron,
Keep Mixing please =)

ya man it looks great. i like that it's made by someone else who likes the mix. :D

and i agree with you completely that good music is good music. i've been browsing the forums for quite a while now and i've found there are two categories of people, those who enjoy music for what it is and those who enjoy it for what it sounds like. i don't really want to get into this here, but i will tell you that i embraced electronica and edm because at it's heart it is about the sound and not anything else. anyway really glad you enjoy my bit of work and hope you keep with the same attitude.

Wow, man thanks! very glad you enjoyed it. very nice comments from a very good dj. :D

in the first track i just took out most of the plain vocals because i felt they killed the energy. and i think i know what you mean by "trippy and steady" lol. just gets a bit techy and fun, with songs that showcase the bass and kick rather than the melody.

also i looked up Christian Cambas and turns out he is the original artist of the tune so i will have to change that. my mistake. :toothless

cheers Pepa, so glad you enjoy.

ps. i think im gonna take that Resolution song from Aalto from your 55.55 mix and use it in my next :D. such an awesome tune with a great vocal effect.

Oh Metatron. This is the first mix I downloaded from you and I must say I'm not impressed. First of all the volume leveling and beatmatching are on point and you do not disappoint there. Next comes the flow, which I have no complaint about because that was great as well. Finally the most important part of the mix is the energy and track selection which go hand in hand. Personally all the tracks you used with the exception of tracks 6 and 7 are boring. I found the mix dragging until tracks 6 and 7 came along. A good track selection is essential in keeping the listener entertained and no matter how excellent your mixing abilities, it's the energy you send off to the crowd that keeps them coming back for more.

Oh Stevieboy321, :( ...;)

lol, thanks for the comments. sorry i couldn't impress you. i appreciate your advice but i already know "good track selection is essential in keeping the listener entertained". it really just sounds like it wasn't so much my particular track selection, because you thought the flow was "great", but that you just don't like the tracks. they "bore" you. well that’s cool. difference of taste is expected in a world of many different cultures and degrees of acumen. but obviously i adore every track in there and personally, i think this mix is one of my best as far as track selection and energy goes. so eh. what ya gonna do? :D

hey, not that you have to or anything, but maybe give it another listen. maybe the second time around you will find the track's energy and spirit will shine a bit better. maybe not, but i find that sometimes mixes don't hit me the first time around.

also, do you have a mix that i could hear? i've checked the last 30 days of posts here for one of your's but couldn't find one. would like to hear one from you. thanks again for the comments and i hope you will continue to be as active in the dj forum as you have. cheers. :D

Sorry it took me so long to comment! but here I am :)

I loved the set as a whole, and the musical selection here is much more in tune with my taste than "Death" was, even though a coupld of tracks in the second half left me a little dry. Great transitions as always, and your flow just gets better and better. There really seems to be a logical and sensical progression in the set. I'm not sure how it'd work in a live setting, but as an hour-long set it works wonders. This has been in my car for the past two weeks!

Cheers mate, keep up the great work. I'll let you know when I finish another set - it's going to be a tad more electro this time 'round :D
