October Mix

(right-click, 'save as')

I had tons of fun making this one. It starts off very energetic with some fresh progressive trance then bounces into some funny tech-house (or whatever you want to call it) then rolls back into some moody progressive trance and finishes off with some floor stopping melodic goodness. Loads of great ing tracks in here. I think the killer app for this mix is David West's remix of New Day. My god what a beautiful and spirited tune. It barely has any reference to the original, this is all David here. This tune is why I think remixes should be counted as separted tunes in the TOTY poll; but I digress. Another great transformation of an original tune is Andy Moor's remix of Transatlantic. I don't really understand the haters, sure Someday for me was lackluster, but Andy Moor is the ! And the finisher, turns out is by Christian Cambas, has such a great melody and energy in that mix. Anyway I hope you have as much fun listening to this one as I did making it.

1. Freeform Five - No More Conversations (Richard X Remix [Metatron Dub Edit])
2. Tilt - New Day (David West Mix)
3. BCML - Mr Horowitz (Original Mix)
4. Özgür Can - Changed (Second Mix)
5. Mode Hookers - Breathe (Instrumental)
6. Ian Carey and Mochico feat. Miss Bunty - Say What U Want (Ian Carey Dub Mix)
7. Tonepushers - Falling (Valentino Kanzyanis Earresistable Remix)
8. Petter - These Days (Chables Those Days Mix)
9. Jose Zamora & Damian DP - Transatlantic (Andy Moor Remix)
10. Christian Cambas - Paramount (Four to the Floor Mix)

Please enjoy the mix guys and tell me what you think!

Hey man, I just wanted to say that your newest mix Denuo is hands down one of the best mixes I have ever heard in electronica music period. The tracks are blended so well, and all the songs flow with each other. I listened to this mix over and over for 3 days straight. Keep up the GREAT work!

That's like the best comment I've ever gotten! :D

Cheers folx!

Tekara or Denou? Or what is Tekara? :p

Nice mix man. I love the first track, No More Conversations. Cool vocals, quality song. About Andy Moor, I do like his productions. However, this remix of Transatlantic I don't like that much. But note that I'm not hating. :)

About the flow, it is nice. I liked more the first half than the last because of the tracks you put first. Some of the last tracks I'm not really feeling (perhaps I'll learn to like them later on, who knows): Say What U Want, Falling and Transatlantic. That is why I choose the first half over the last. But the last track is a good one. Nice finish.

Anyway, it's a nice mix. Don't pay attention to the not-so-good comments about the tracks I didn't like. I just put those for completion purposes if you will. The point in all this is that you still make quality mixes and you have a devoted listener here. Cheers and thanks for sharing.

Cheers ierxium, thanks again for the great comments.

Don't like the Transatlantic remix! Blasphemy! LOL No, but personally I think that is probably the best example of Andy Moor's sound atm. Not too over the top, tasteful, yet powerful.

I'm glad I have a devoted listener in you. Cheers.

edit: oh and about the Tekara thing...

I had originally named the mix Tekara, which was just some drunken mind jibberish at the time. I often have a differen't name for the mix initially as it's just something to name the file while I'm working on it. I did a little research on it and found out that it is actually one of Matt Darey's aliases! LOL, I thought I'd heard it before. Turns out he took the name from a far-east toy manufacturer so I don't think he would have minded but it didn't really represent my mix that well anyway so I changed it to Denuo. Denuo is latin meaning anew, afresh and again.

I fixed it a few days after I first posted it so you can either change the ID tags yourself or download it again if you want. Sorry bout that, but there's the story.

I wouldnt have these ppl toot your horn so much, and its nice to see you comin out with some more "housey"trance. This mix was alright, i wouldnt call it the best or the worst. I did download it, and thats that. Metatron is definately on the list for downloadable material, in comparison, i thin Pepa has similar mixing capabilties, yet more trancey style. What kinda junk are you using to mix with? (errr... i mean gear, my s junk, yours is probably catagorized as gear.)
