| Before this year I totally loathed House and Techno...but after Lawler & Sasha @ the Guv I have progressed into such a house head that for me now Trance == House...and I bet in a few more months I will like techno just as much <3 especially after Sunday... |

I am a house girl and I totally agree with you Trancegrooves. I started in the EDM scence as a trance fan many years ago but the progression that I made over to house doesn't mean to say that you liking trance today is wrong. We all have different tastes in music and our tastes progress from one genre to another in different ways which is what keeps the industry exciting. I have no issues with people who love trance or go to trance shows. Just because it isn't for me doesn't make it wrong or less cool for those who love it. Eveyone has the right to his or her opinion and it should be respected. I remember what it was like to love trance so I can appreciate your enthusiasm for it...maybe one day you will be able to appreciate the house side of the industry...maybe not ...but either way ...its all cool. I actually love reading the trance vs house debaes as long as they are kept mature and respectful... It is what keeps us passionate about what we love. Who cares what you love....as long as YOU love it...that is what is important. |

| Some people are comparing genres of music like one has more value than the other. Arguments here like one genre is better because it's more creative, or one genre is better because it's created by blacks or whites, are irrelevant. They are different types of music intended to bring out different emotions. You can't say one is better, because they are trying to do different things. It's like taking Terrell Owens and Dany Heatley and saying who's better, it's a dumb comparison because they play different sports. |
