So, I've recently found that Circulation is pure class.
Who else enjoys their tasty techy technicolor house? If you're familiar with their productions, what are some favorites?
I've got Limited #7 and love it to bits; irresistibly funky. |

| First discovered them with Turquoise (Different Gear Mix) (which is absolute class btw). Have both of their albums, but none of their vinyl yet. Really liked the B sides on Green and Chocolate. |

Circulation have done lots of tasty tracks, got both Colours and Colours 2 albums (both are albums not to be missed!) and a bunch of singles and there isn't really a bad track among them. The moody original version of Turquoise still has to be my fav Circulation track but there are several other goodies too. Both mixes of Chocolate are grreat, other being breaksy tho. Their stuff varies from funk'n'groovy house to more techy works and all the way to moody deep house and something in between all these.
Also their part in the "Abstract Funk Theory" compilation series is very enjoyable as well, including exclusively one their colour theme tracks, Uncoloured which is an addictively looping groover. |

| circulation rocks, i love how they never stick to one thing and keep releasing top notch tracks. my favourite tracks include Cherry (B-side), Topaz (both sides), Aubergine (A-side), Pink (B-side), Turqoise (Both sides), Limited 4,5,7,8 |

| yeah i love circulation they put out some great releases...always really banging so i love that. i'll have to think about favorites for a while...they got so many good tracks... |

"Uncoloured" is one of my favorite tracks by them, and the Matt Jackson remix of Limited #2 is excellent as well. I also love Topaz :cool: |

I'd say my favorite track by Circulation is probably "Green", which coincidentally is their first release. The edit of the track on the label side, most likely the original mix, is pure quality and has a nice laid-back and lush deep/tech house feel, almost reminiscent of "In Progress" by Trentemoller. For those who have or have listened to the first Colours album, this track is unmixed and is 7th on disc 1. Other tracks I really enjoy from the Circulation guys are:
-Chocolate (both sides, but especially the label side)
-Topaz (the non-label side, the one that Hernan Cattaneo plays on his South America compilation)
-Orange (the non-label side)
-Yellow (the non-label side)
-White (not sure what mix though, track 2 on disc 1 of Colours album)
-Aqua (the version that starts disc 2 on the first Colours album, although the vinyl release does not have this mix on it)

Circulation do have some mint tracks!
I started off with pink, I had no idea ¨back then¨ what it was about, just really enjoyed the track.
Ofcourse Turqoise is a really nice track. nice groove it has.
And the thing with colours, really nice :) |
