Reparing a cd..

hey guys,

I have an original cd of kruder of dorfmeister the k&d sessions, cd has skips when i play it, is it possible to try to repare it...

No i dont want to try to make an iso and burn it on a cd-r, i think it just looks ugly when u have the original pocket...and ordering a new one is expensive...cdn$34,99 + 15%tx...

First, what's wrong with it?? Does it have those pesky holes that make the CD transparent (can't be fixed) or does it have scratches (deep/small)

dude...this price is in us dollars + I'd have to pay us shipping + customs....i told the price in canadian dollars from amazon.ca :)

i ruined a cd doing this...it didn't work for me :conf:



anyway just go to target or something and cd a disc doctor...i've got one and it works pretty good as long as it's not ed to ...

yeah...it makes no sense to me
toothpaste is gritty and intensely abrasive...if you finished it off by rubbing it with something reeeeeeeeeeeally smooth and polished it down after mbbe, but still
i'd never try that

the info is not recorded onto the front its recorded onto the back of the label there is a thin layer of poly something

that is why cds can be repaired even if scratched very badly as long as the back of the label is intact

bring it to a local repair shop they will do it professionally for like $5 or so

well not for specifically for cds but my local radio shack does it
