at least i didn't remove myself from the club of my own volition - the bouncers did it for me :p

I had lotsa fun on Saturday night......
Towards the second half of Sasha's set the music started getting better! Those basslines:toothless Loved it! The start of his set dragged on slowwwwwwwwwwwww!
Good to meet some TA's (forgot some of your niknames:p ) & also good to see the ones Ive met before..ha ha ha!:toothless

I had a good night overall, thought Chable was well erm....ergh... hate to say it as he's got such a talent as a producer.... but that set was not very interesting, he should have played his own style more. He just doesn't look like he's comfortable up behind the decks at all. Not that Sasha, was anymore involving to watch, head buried in the mixer and screen all night.... I dunno it just doesn't seem right that a couple of thousand people can go out to see/hear you play, and not once did he get excited or acknowledge the crowd... god he's so boring to 'see' play...I really think he should spin more off CD or vinyl, and then work the crowd a little more during the deeper sections of the set, to keep the crowd interested.
But tunes wise thought it was very good,,, and take heed Melbourne, hardly a distorted elctro bassline in 4 hours!!! Bout time.... |
