3rd signal : thanks mate :) Would love to hear new productions from you then :) About the percussions, there are quite a few other percussional things going on in the track besides the hihats. But they are a bit more in the background, you would hear them a lot better if you would listen on headphones. Bongo's did not fit this track ;) But I love them bongo's usually haha

I was listening with headphones bro... AKG-240S..hehe..but then again I was tired as I recall so maybe I didn't pay too much attention for small parts, will listen again bro. sorry then, my bad..
About my production - I'll make sure to upload something sometime soon though it reminds me a bit of the older production (in style not quality) but yea, enough blabing from me...hehe if you want to hear something now I'd be happy to send you via MSN Messenger or ICQ, just send me a private messege and I'll add you or send my details.
Digital Aura

I also had in mind to bring that synth from 1.29 in at the end of the leadsection but after trying it it just did not work, there was no more room left.

Guess that's where i always go wrong , i just try and fit every single thing in the climax, flooding it with sound and ending up with ... noise

I Should learn to take a step back and, leave out what isn't essential ...

Hi Menno.

Good track you have. Some things are not quite right in it tho i think.

It might not need it because people like the track a lot already, but I'd like to hear more fx and edits on this one. I can hear a verbed perc here and there but I think overal its just too empty and static, needs variety (mainly in percs) and fills In 2000 this would do great.

Buildup is good. Synthwork dated and too much reverb. Melody fine. Clapthingy could use more volume. Or a clap with a tale, if you want to stick to the dated sound ;) Eq and mastering is good too, I love the cleared kick, listening through headphones.

I'd suggest work on unique synthwork and fx, and fill up your coming tracks with additional percussions, fx and melodic layers. Gonna be great!

Thanks everyone, replies keep on coming, I am really pleasantly surprised :)

Jay M: Thanks mate, I really appreciate your comments and you also hit the nail right on the head. There are still a few areas in which I need to develop as a producer so with my tracks at this point I am concentrating on the things I do best and trying to make the best track I can make with the skills that I have NOW :) Hopefully in the near future I can hear this track and say hmzz I could do it a lot better right now ;)

Groundzero : Totally know the problem ;) I learned the hard way that less can be more sometimes. Also stereoimaging does a lot of good :)

Digital Aura : Aren't Christians supposed to be loving people? hehehe :D But in this case it is a nice compliment

Luminous : thanks for the recommendations :)

Cheers everyone! You have made my rather boring weekend :)

I liked the song a lot and definitly look forward to your other productions.

This is a great production overall but could be better if it had more fx and maybe a varied synth, like Jay M was saying. A little to bland at times, or generic, but very professionally done, technically speaking. Still a great production and cant wait for your next few tracks, sure to be killers. I think you reached a professional sound to your songs (havent herd your past ones yet) so hopefully your next few will have originality (more so than this one but you know what I mean) with a professional sound.

Thanks Fuzzychicken (the names on this board sometimes haha) for the feedback. Will do my best to make future tracks even better ;) Although others might hate me for it then haha

Hi Nomen,

Your song has gotten a lot of positive feedback, and justifiably so! Right from the beginning that bass kicked me in my balls and I knew I was in for a treat!

Tons of energy and forward momentum here
Solid kick

It may be my headphones, but sometimes I have a hard time making out the clap when all the layers are going at once...

I like the vocal sample..

is that the angel crying? Is she hot? Cause I'm always up for comforting a hot angel..

The breakdown is HUGE - very epic :)

Your sounds are great.. lots of texture.

The melody may be lacking on uniqueness but you make up for it was delicious sounds and non-stop energy.

Great stuff - thanks for sharing,
Trev

very solid mixdown, and pretty banging.

around 3:30 i didn't like so much the way the vocal stab stops just before the pads, a bit rough IMO !

otherwise i'ts a great job. labels ? :D

Thanks mate ;) No no labels yet. I have been rather lazy sending any of my tracks out yet. Not quite sure which labels would be waiting for my tracks anyways. So many good producers on here and out there ;)

Sooper, you make me laugh with your wicked comment. You bet ya that Angel is HOT ;) Would I be making a track about an ugly angel? ;) I hope your balls are ok, my bassline says sorry! ;)
