How to make a cool room?

Now i understand there are a lot of different people here, some who might live in a mansion(by my standards) or a very small hut thing, if you live in a hut then its cool you got a computer though.
Now i'll describe what i have to work with and i want you to tell me how to make it cool.
Fist of all i have a lower-middleclass family, which means we have a small house, we get by, and we have some neat things.. but a small house(boring too). I dont have a job, i have a few hundred saved away, i was smart and started saving when i was real real young in hopes of being rich and not having my kids live in a small house.. :(
I was able to get the largest room in the house, switched with my sister cause she left to college. My room is maybe 16ftx14ft which i think is pretty big, it has one outlet, one phone line, and a lot of in it.
The main problem is i go to my friends rooms and they're cool, but they have stuff to work with(tvs, stereos.. room) what i would like to do is have fun by myself in my room and have people go "wow this is a cool room!!!"
Stuff in my room:
4ft black light
3 posters, 2 are black light ones
a bed
a weight bench and weights, takes up most of the room
a book shelf, 3ft wide
a dresser, 3.5ft wide
a small chair
many clothes on the floor
plasma ball
mini-lava lamp
many candles
a phone
everyhtign is pushed against a wall, i ripped the carpet up so i have a wood floor(nice one too) and i have 3 windows, 2 in the front, one on the side. I mgith beable to get a picture going if that would be more help.
So far the things i thought would be good to add would be a dart board, a rug type thing, maybe more posters, glow in the dark stars(queer), and maybe blacklite paint. I want to stay away from anyhting too expensive and i just basically need any help, like what to get, how to set it up.. what you think makes a room cool.
thanks, please give as much advice in the next week so i can get started(i have a hurt shoulder so i can only use one arm though, i'll do it) |

| well, if you can handle the responsibility, an aquarium makes a good addition to any room..:D |

| i used to have an 80 gallon aquarium but the shark got too big so we sold it back to the store we got it. |

| that is a good idea, would look cool in the blacklite. The onyl prblem is i dont really have the room or soemthing to put it on, plus fish dont scare me but when you change the water and they like flap around that just freaks me out to much.. they like flap around..:( |

| no they don't really flap around...and to change the water i don't take it out the aquarium i take it out the filter |

Anyway, about the room, hmm...
well, are you the type who likes a crouded & cozy room, or an organized layout type??
Well... i don't know ...i'll need to think about it.:p

i like a room that has a bit of open area in it but also has a lot of cool stuff.
I was recently thinking about how to rearange it so i would get more room and possibly fit a TV in it, maybe if i remove a dresser.. |

hey UISGDLYAST u have a good start.....a black light & a lava lamp....but no stereo???? big mistake...u need one....BAD :D so u can chill to ur tunes....maybe move the weight set aside somewhere...so u get some room to dance...i really love that.....hahah
ummmmm u can take cool pics...& draw/colour them with highlighters....they glow nice to the black light.....i have a laser in my room.....so i cant complain....its pretty en sick!!! my speakers are hung in 2 corners of my room facing downward right at my bed/dancing area......& i have my black light glowing & my laser pointed right in between the 2 speakers...looks cool....but now that i think of it....i think i might buy a lava lamp.......those are SWEEEEEEET :toothless
