hey guys,
I dont mean to be rude but i've noticed that you guys sometimes make comments without being in the know.
if you knew the facts of this situation you would understand that when DJs mix a regular compilation such as this rather than an artist or DJ compilation such as POD2, many times the artist is limited to what they can use on the cd by the bigger labels.
so maybe we are "overated" etc to some of you and although i agree that some of the tunes are a bit dated, these kind of CD's arent meant for the hardcore listeners or for heavy critique.
with these cds its not about the newest and most original tracks since the target audience with these cds may not quite see the music the way we all do...
the main purpose is to draw people who do not normally listen to trance into the genre. the tracks are all easy to understand, some nice vocals included and overall it is JUST a selection of some of the better tunes of the genre in the last year or so.
i hope after reading this you guys understand the reason behind alot of these kind of compilations and stop bashing them without knowing whats up
bottom line guys: if we continue to build the scene up in the united states and the rest of the world, it means more, bigger and better parties. more money is generated for the scene and it allows promoters to bring all the upcoming guys that I see a lot of you want to hear instead of the top 10 DJs that are constantly bashed here as well.
i just find it ironic that you complain about things that in the long run are trying to help build the scene and help attain alot of the things you guys really want the most.
anyways, stay tuned for our next ARTIST compilation/DVD called "Crowd Control" scheduled for release in Februrary. the DVD features many top 10 DJs, a whole lot of hot girls, fast cars and much more. we selected all the tracks so save your bashing until then lol ;)
as far as the worshipping armin thing goes, we barely play any trance out at our gigs :tongue3 ill just let the next cd speak for itself |
