LEVEL3 is one of the major communications companies that also acts as an internet backbone. Since it was ed up last night, any site or connection (irc, p2p, etc) that was handled/routed by lvl3 wouldn't work. |

Level3 and Cogent were having a tiff over pricing and decided to cut themselves off from each other a few weeks back... I dont know how the matters have held up, but the first couple of days the internet was pretty ed up, took a bit for things to get re-routed around their networks.
UN should run the internet, companies cant be trusted as much. |
