Since i cut down on blazing, my lungs have felt a lot better. I even got a run in on sunday!

the only time i feel it in my lungs is after a long weekend of partying, when i have smoked too many cigs..

...are we quitting smoking weed here, or cigarettes? :toothless I myself have been getting around to quit cigarettes for a WHILE now...and we'll see how it goes. Right now I'm 24 hours without a cigarette. I'll probably end up smoking at Guv on saturday though...but we'll see

NO SMOKING AT GUV!!! :whip: or I'll kick yo ass lol

if you've gone 24 hours without one (which is 12 hours more than me), then keep going!! :P

Now it's 36 hours :nervous: :nervous: They say that if you go 3 days without smoking then you're on the right track. Tomorrow is gonna be my hardest test though, since I'm working in the evening (and having a smoke at my job is something that I REALLY looked forward to)

go for a smoke break, just don't smoke a cigarette.. i know tons of ppl who go for quick breaks but don't smoke.. simply because it's not really fair that i go out a total of an hour a day to smoke at work, while they sit and get work done..

if I go outside then I'll end up asking the first person I see for a cigarette, but I'm gonna try replacing the cigarette with something else...like an apple or something :toothless

not to mention this weather is starting to suck too, so that helps a bit...as does the sore throat I have at the moment.

smoking is a mental addiction and this book does the best job of explaining it and why you feel the need for a smoke.

the only way to stop smoking is to decide.. "I don't want to smoke anymore"

This is the book i was talking about. It really does the trick.

The best way to quit is simply to motivate yourself. Sign up yourself to a gym, participate in sports, etc. Most of all start eating properly because nicotine is a parasite that plays with your diet. In most cases you will start eating more but after time you will balance out your diet. You will have to go cold turkey with smoking because it's the only way to quit (no joke). Hope this helps.

I remember working at Dominion and being left in charge of my deparment, and I had people asking me for extra breaks for smoking. They had the nerve of saying they deserved more breaks because they smoked! I laughed at them and told them to get backt to work.

I tried to explain how it was unfair to the people who didnt smoke and worked instead. Silly kids.
