Alive and kickin' bitchesss!!!
DrillYou & MJM420 are doing good. Playing dominoes at my house
as a matter of fact....while i'm here at work. Bitches.
My job has industrial generators so these mo' fo's were ready.
Yes, KENDALL got a lot of debris & down trees, lots of power & phone
poles are down in the HORSE COUNTRY area.
No gas anywhere!! Closest I saw, was a huge line (min 3 hours) on
87th AVE and NW 25 st. I think Sam's Club may also have gas but you
need a membership to buy gas. WTF??
They expect at least a week if not two before power comes back
in my area. Fawkin' sucks but I got my chrons & whisky to hold me out.
A post hurricane celebration sounds like heaven!
I'm willing to help out with some $$$$ for the gas on the generators.
Party on!!!

yesssssss i just got my power back about 30 minutes ago...5 minutes after i got it back it shut off....i yelled so loud it was not cool at all to play with my emotions like that....then it came back but still....it was fun living like it was the 1600's...people were walking outside and actually being friendly because they had nothing else to do...now that the power is back everyone is stuck in their homes again with their little appliances and i will never see most of my neighbors again....though it was annoying to go through all this crap it was nice to see people walking around getting to know each other...in the mean time....ill be stuck in my lil house with my appliances :)

I'm alive guys.....my place is ok, but NO power probably for weeks. It took me 2 days to have someone cut the trees off my car ( I had 2 trees on it...heh). Broward County is wrecked! Trees down every which way and chaos to get ice, water, gas, etc. I'm just glad my job is up and running to get power and connection to the outside world.

My b'day is tomorrow which should be loads of fun:whip: :whip: :whip: And i was scheduled to be on vacation for three weeks, but thats been scratched.....I hope everyone else is ok......respect!
Demoted
Good to hear from some of you even if I don't know most of you. Hope everyone else does well.

Reporting from Hallandale Beach here. A big ass Crane fell by The Diplomat Hotel, another huge one in Sunny Isles, a big ass Marina loaded with boats destroyed, my friends apt. parking lot had cars flipped everywhere. Bunch of friends had their windows blown out. I've got no power in my house, but Im in my uncle's abandoned apt. in the beach next to some stores.. the luxury of living close to convenience stores, you become a priority. Around my area, Aventura, Hallandale, North Miami Bch was Chaos.. made a 3:30 hr line to get some gass, went again for my other car today morning at 7 and the line was more then 5 hr wait, so that was a heck no. I'll be waiting it out. Hope everyone is Ok, Power is a bitch, will be coming back in a lot of places around nov. 22. THis WILMA bitch was understimated.

it must suck to have to wait all day for 10$ of gas. this should be reason enough to move in the direction of alternative fuels and cleaner cars.

Reporting from Miami Lakes/Miami Gardens (they don't know what to call my area) is destroyed!! Got power tonite, maybe like an hour ago...this place is really trashed...some areas are still without power...the gas lines are a mess. I've never seen such a thing. Houses are messed up, so many fences down...trees are all down...the roof of the taco bell by my house is gone. The nearby trailer parks are messed up, some trailers gone completely. Trees on top of cars. Concrete light posts are down along with signs from stores. Absolute mess.

I didn't expect so much destruction...thank god that it was cold after she hit because being without power SUCKED!! My phone is still eh, but thankfully works from time to time. I think a lot of us underestimated her power, including me...I was not prepared whatsoever for this but now I know.

+1 with Eric... WILMA! :whip:

they thought all the damage would come on the west coast where it came ashore. instead it hit an uninhabited island and a boonie town everglades city, naples, and ft. myers. glad u got your power back.
Renzo
I just got back power.

The development where I live is destroyed. Someone hold me. :nervous:
