I also must have missed that thread or perhaps saw it and was shocked that we would even start something like that....don't care if this takes it in the wrong direction.....but.......
WHO THE CARES ABOUT INTERRACIAL MIXING/DATING/WHATEVER?? I would think in this day and age it wouldn't matter and it sure as wouldn't be the topic of conversation but maybe I was just raised not to notice the color of a person's skin and if it is going to determine if I date that person. :rolleyes:
Sorry Dani but there are some things that really really piss me off and the thought, meantion even in jokin of anything race related is one of them. |

and ps- we weren't ing joking about it at all huney. why the would we? NYTA is prally the most open-minded group of people on the planet. i'll let shamus do the talking when he sees the thread.

| I think that today people still have somewhat of a "concern" for it is because we were brought up by our parents who had to deal with it a lot. I have to admit, I make a stupid remark from time to time but I really have to say that is not a reflection on how I really feel. And I can also say that whenever I get a chance to raise kids, there won't be any type of slandering towards another race. It is a slow process and yeah you can say, "why do people still think like that? times have changed." But we still have people alive who are from those "times". |

Actually, Shamus was saying how everyone would all eventually be the same skin color over time. (Correct me if I'm wrong) The thread was definitely unwarretd for, but it got into an interesting topic of conversation.
