Most Annoying Place to shop from

IKEA online/phone order
So I wanted to order a new computer desk cost around $140. I give a call today and talk to their rep. After some mumbo jumbo, he gives me the total and said something $300 bucks.
I'm like, wtf? I ask him to repeat the quote. He says $300 again. Still in disbelief I ask him why is the shipping charge so high. He says something about the size of the item and how it needs to be shipped via truck, etc.
So I say forget it and got a cheap 40 bucks desk. With shipping charge and all, it still came to 80 bucks.
What a rip off.
PS: The 140 dollar desk I wanted to get was called 'Johan'. I giggled like a little sissy girl when i saw that. |

| Why didn't you get a friend to drive you to an Ikea or something? Pretty sure gas money wouldn't have been that extra cost to pick it up yourself. |

worst place to shop from = club monaco...
despite most purchases being from there, the staff annoy me with teh number of times they bug u with their "is everythign ok??" or "can i help u with something?" even tho u tell them a gazillion times ur fine.
i actually got mad once and told one of the reps to off...
the manager came up to me and asked me then "can i help u with anything sir??"..i replied "well u can bugger off too and let me browse ur store in peace"
"oh im sorry about the hassle sir"
"thanks...oh wait..ur still here" |
