Tracks That Suggest Suicide?
View this Thread in Original format
TweeK
Im looking for EDM tracks that leave you with an impressing that there either talking about suicide or suggesting suicide. It might sound a bit weird but does anyone have a slight idea on what im talking about?

Examples

Calyx - Follow the Leader
Hybrid - True To Form
Young Parisians ft Ben Lost - Jump The Next Train (Solarstone Remix):p :conf:

PLz save your self the sarcastic comments.
UWM
Sneaker Pimps - 6 Underground ?
DJ Cinos
Well, Far Above The Clouds by Mike Oldfield could be interpreted as suicide. ("And the man (...) journeyed up the mountainside and nothing was ever heard from him again (...)")

But nah. I don't think so.
Omega_Blue
ozzy osbourne - suicide solution??
Dubster
I always thought Andain - Beautiful Things suggested someone singing from the other side after taking their life.

I don't actually think that Jump The Next Train is a suicide suggestive song.

"Either way it's suicide
Cars drive through in real time
You choose the stars in blue and white
I love you till i'm dead inside
Plastic eyes look milky white
And the violence makes things hard to hide
Our pale faces sink in time
Either way it's suicide

Touch till hot times smack me up
And cigarettes taste good tonight
Modern girl it's time to go
Either way i'll let you know
We wake up to a polaroid
And the blank eyes stare at something new
Little unit don't let go
All I really want is you"

To me, this is perhaps more of a twisted love song than a suicide note, but I suppose there's different ways you can look at it.

woah! if you put it into that perspective and closely pay attention to lyrics. I actually makes sense.

"I forgot that I might see,
So many beautful things.
I forgot that I might need,
to find out what life could bring."

"Now what do I do
can I change my mind
did I think things through

It was once my life - it was my life at one time"

Never saw it that way...:eyespop: :eyespop:

[Gabriel and Dresden Remix]:D

It's just poetic bollocks to add a bit more grandeur to an already over-the-top climax. Great track though.

I always thought that as well - "Take a ticket to the other side..." The XDR/Whiteroom Intro Mix is recommended too.

Hehe there was a thread about that, but Dave Dresden replied saying it was just about enjoying the beautiful things in life. :)

Grrrrr
Delerium - Silence

Give me peace, Heaven holds a sense of wonder etc certainly suggests suicide to me
Ricky Tan
Armin van Buuren feat. Ray Wilson - Yet Another Day
