yeah, and it flopped. who gives a though? it was just nice to see pvd be excited about SOMETHING when hes behind those decks.
i dont care though. i'll take a dj who can my head with beautiful transitions over a dj who can raise his arms and pump his fists any day. that sure takes a lot of skill. |

I have heard countless bedroom dj's spin better tracks with more skill than I have ever heard him do.
I listened to him trainwreck 3 mixes... IN SUCCESSION, at Global Gathering 2005, and he also made a fool out of himself on Radio 1 with Judge Jules.
People who say he is the best dj since sliced bread, having only seen him twice, obviously havent got much to compare him to.
Look at it this way, say you've only ever eaten lasagne once, regardless of how bad it might be, it's still the best you have ever had. ;) |
well ive seen tiesto 25 times. so i guess i like his lasagna. and although yes there are alot of other much better techinically sound djs out there, he still rocks a party. he isnt my number one draw anymore, i would rather see the likes of corsten, edgar v, and gielen live more nowadays, but tiesto is still my man, because he is not scared to experiment and dabble in other styles. this argument will never end and its in everyone's best interest to agree to just disagree. and if you owned your own label you would be off your rocker not to promote it. that would be your life just like it is theirs, so to say that perturbs you is disingenuous at best. put yourself in their shoes, they worked thier whole life for that , i would be representing my too... |

I challenge that kind of thinking, as it's kinda like saying "Your opinion doesn't matter because a bunch of other people feel the same way (regardless of if it's for different reasons that your own)"
