Planning to make it out for this. Not 100%, though.
Why have all of the good events been on Thursdays and Sundays lately, while the weekends, for the most part, have had fairly disappointing lineups? Can't Porter play on a Friday or Saturday in NYC? I think that I haven't seen him on a weekend since he opened for Sander last fall. It's not that I mind going out on a work night every once in awhile, but when I'm staying in on Friday and Saturday nights because nothing is going on, but going out mid-week, it gets a bit annoying. |

That is true, but since Sunday was the actual 4th, there were still a large # of people (not me, I know, we all went out for breakfast afterwards) that had to work on Monday.
There are a lot of Monday holidays that have parties on Sunday nights, but not everyone gets those holidays off. Christina, for one, doesn't get quite a few of them. |
