I just figured he got caught because he was a flaming douchebag and nobody liked him!;)
If memory serves he was trying to buy an ounce of weed in an alley and got busted. I dont' remember if it was by an undercover agent--if it was I'd assume they were after him for something bigger.
But yeah--I don't think it's very difficult to get your hands on a little weed provided you know what you're doing. The quality of said weed...well, that's another story. Money talks, though. |

| lol I get quality here but the point wasn't that. Dude, my point was that when you legalize it for people to posses how are you gonna tell who's a dealer and who's dealing to young teenagers? You can't. Therefore it's an incredibly stupid law to pass. Even in Amsterdam you can't go around carrying that much weed, unless I'm mistaken, and you could for the most part only smoke in cofeeshops and all. |

Don't worry, this isn't federal. The US as a whole is still gung ho on it's war on drugs and incarcerating people for victimless crimes. |

Doing something to harm yourself doesn't make yourself a victim, sorry. If you smoke or inject it into yourself and you die, too bad.
Second, like someone already said, there are tons of things out there that can kill you that are perfectly legal (and most of which should be) such as cigarettes, alcohol, guns, motorcycles, pretty much anything, tbh. Some things are just more likely to kill you than others.
Lastly, this is about pot, not meth and heroin. |

being stoned and driving a car will definatly kill you. Somehow, though I think people would definatly like to have cars around than drugs. :)
And this isn't about cars and motorcycles it's about pot ;)
As I've pointed out earlier legalizing something doesn't make it better. Where's the control factor in this hmm? I go to denver and sell 20's to 9th graders. Cops pull me over and I have a few ounces in my car. I say it's for me and they let me go and I continue to sell it. Oh yeah it's all the kids fault that they smoke. Sure, good argument.
Turning a blind eye on use and punishing distributors as i've previously mentioned, ala Switzerland and from what I understand, alot of places here in New York, is a much better way.
Just because you've legalized possesion you've done jack for trafficing do you not realize this? |
