in the range of perry tunes over the year I think this is rather dissapointing. ok, the sounds and samples are properly done but the overall tune is quite simple and does not seem to have that 'magic' which 'wave force used to have for instance :)
it works in the club, but it's just not 'all that' imho. however, i do like the dark and more proggy sound perry is doing nowadays but with a little more effort he could've made this something really special! |

Well, I mostly am in agreement with this. I still do enjoy Wave Force more than this one, but this one is done so well albeit simple. It has a nice, long build with a heavy synth in it and when I heard it live it was amazing. Despite a lack of variation in overall melody, I will have to say that this is the best track on the featured release. It's the one you don't forget for the simple fact that it is basic enough to get your attention with a flow that will keep it. |
