YET ANOTHER PVD THREAD! OMGWTFBCFBBQB4DALOCK

He's an artist now, artist play their own work

99-01 he was a DJ, and a DJ plays OTHER peoples work. Thats when it was more fun because you saw a diversity in selection. Essentially thats what builds a set (the flow). Now a days, all DJs produce to make money and all producers DJ for the fame. It's the fact of the matter.

One successful producer / dj or in this case a singer and producer is Pharrell. He's got the money, the fame, and the beats to back him up.

And believe it or not, PVD once dropped Rank1-Awakening at Sound Factory 2001 (or 2002) I believe. That was literally the weekend after ultra - I was burnt to say the least...

Also when our beloved Taub(Matt) donated to PVD at NY<3PVD SHIRT!

edit-which also happen to be his first return to NYC since the closing of Twilo *then it was 2002*

Thing is, his productions suck. Playing your own productions isn't a problem. Ferry does it all the time. Thing his, he is a good producer. I just hate listening to a rocking PvD set and then out of the clear blue sky he plays a fluffy vocal track to totaly kill the mood. I didn't really notice how boring and repetitive his stuff has become till CP. But whatever, I will still go to his shows and have a good time. :)

And yeah, another PvD thread. Did I break a rule or something?

no you didn't break a rule or anything, you just added to the PVD Junkie Alliance by posting another thread. Funny how Carlcox only had one thread (maybe 2 lols). Well DJs playing their own productions is nothing new, All djs do it, it's obvious, but now that each DJ has alot more production to reach back into their crates, they are more inclined to play their own music versus dropping other stuff. Usually the reason why I stopped going to PVD shows. The last track that I really enjoyed hearing pvd drop was Arrolo-Dreaming(Percussion Mix) and that was short lived as he kept it exclusive to encores. I'd love to hear it in a set but never had.

Classic PVD tracks
Members of Mayday - 10 in 01
Solid Sleep - Club Attack
Tillman Uhrmacher - On the Run (Ocean to Shore Mix)

He doesn't play these much anymore, maybe club attack, but definitely not 10in01

OMG-STFU!

If you don't like them don't listen to them. If you don't support it don't go to the show. Its that simple. Don't sit here and complain about it. Didn't your mom ever teach you??? If you don't have anything good to say don't say it at all!

Some people like his new stuff, as well as Armin *cough* ME *Cough* But I am not overly fond of other DJ's. Which I used to be, but I don't go complaining about them I simply drop them out of my rotation.

Didn't drink your coffee this morning? Stop trolling my thread jackass. I obviously created this thread to get other peoples opinions and create forum discussion. Unfortunitely, you suck at both.
