Actually the Roxy finalized a deal with the City today that will allow them to stay open until 6am and go 18+, so everything will be fine. |
Im not going to pvd but details of the litigation along with a statement made by Roxy might soothe the suspicions for out-of-state attendees. A general statement is just as good as a phone call to roxy is as good as an email from Made Events...if you know what i mean. |

hellllll yeahhhhhhhhhhhh.
this is on par with a superbowl game, tied up and a review being made on a touchdown...
"After reviewing the play, the call on the field stands, ROXY will remain open until 6 am and will be 18 and over"
ahhhhhhhh
screams the crowd
made you made my day |

| Thanks Made!!!!!! I just was kinda wondering how PVD is going to feel about this. I'm pretty sure that he would have been very pissed to say the least if something else bad happened at one of his shows. Just remember IKON on New Years and at Club Fur this past year, if I remember correctly the club in Washington almost didn't let him in because he was in sneakers. (That was from his website) and dont forget San Fran Love Parade. Why do bad things happen to seemingly nice people????? Should we really all show up at 8? I mean that is really early for NYC. |

I was at that show in DC.....not only did that happen....but some threw his t-shirt up into the booth and it just so happened that PVD was spinning a record....yes a RECORD. The shirt landed on the table and the music stopped. Bad things only happen to trance DJ's of this caliper. You don't see morons throwing as Desyn Masiello or even Digweed...nor do you see out of control lines overwhelming security to get inside the club. |

I wouldn't say it's a trance DJ problem, i'd say it's a top 20 DJ problem (a lot of which happen to be trance). Cox isn't trance and that line was awful two weeks ago. Same goes for Sasha (his February Fundacion was the worst one this year).
Also, I was there but don't remember/didn't see, but GUBostonDubs said that someone spilled a drink on Armin's equipment at Fur a month ago. Big thumbs down.
I also hate seeing people throw their ing glowsticks towards the DJ. I've seen this problem at concerts, too. I don't understand what people are thinking. |

lol.
bouncer: Sorry sir, we can't let you in dressed like that.
pvd: But I'm the dj. I'm going to be on my feet for the next six hours.
bouncer: Rules are Rules. It's not my call.
pvd: (flicks his finger and the mob waiting in line take down the bouncer. pvd walks in like nothing happened) |
