Yeah, Baja Fress is gross. :-\
With Chipotle, I'm not a huge fan of their regular burritos, but I loooooooooooooveeee their fajita burritos.
Usually get a steak fajita burrito with the hot salsa, sour cream, and cheese. Little rice. |

Anyhow, after a 10-minute drive and passing through a minor accident on the freeway, I finally made it to Chipotle. I got there around 8pm and the line was huge! I was tempted to order a Jose Cuervo Margarita. That looked so good, but I was on my break at work, so maybe next time. Instead, I ordered the 4 crunchy tacos meal. That way I was able to try out all their meat flavors. Well, kinda, I decided to skip on the chicken, so instead I got 2 Steak, 1 Carnitas, and 1 Barbacoa tacos. The bartender was hot! After giving her that hypnotic Woody look into her eyes, she was all mine! Oh yeah! She hooked it up good! She added Sour Cream, Guacamole, and all the trimmings! Very nice. Then, I got hooked up with some Chips & Guacamole and a side of salsa.
Without a place to sit and eat, I decided to take my food to go. I finally make it back to work and began eating.
chump chump chump chump... that's me eating... chump chump chump... Oh , what's this? A Bone? chump chump chump.

The Steak sucked! It tasted like Cardboard, yeah, im gonna get flamed for saying it, but I didn’t like the steak. Blah!
Carnitas... They were good, but they were still White Washed Carnitas.
Barbacoa.... OMG!!! Now this was so good, it actually tasted like real Mexican Barbacoa. I give them 20 thumbs up on the Barbacoa.
The Chips & Guacamole... This kicked ass too. I think the Barbacoa Tacos & Chips with Guacamole were my favorite part of my Chipotle Experience. The chips are crispy and you can taste the lemon on it, which went awesome with the guacamole. The guacamole seemed to be somewhat hand made.
Salsa... I had the hottest salsa they got and it was good. A little bit white washed, but good.
Overall...
8 out of 10
It didn't stand to the hype. I think Lisa was right. She knew exactly what I was gonna think about it.
Oh well.

Great review Woody!!!1 All us TAs were hanging in the drive through cause there were some washing machines taking up the entire front row. :whip: Next time for sure though. |

Del Taco isn't a real "Mexican" place, it's an Americanized wannabe. Now I don't know about Baja Fresh since I've never been there.
Hellz, all this talk about burritos sure got me HUNGRY!!! :whip:

| The only thing I order from Baja Fresh is the Steak Nacho Plate w/ black beans. If I don't feel like getting that, I get the Burrito Dos Manos (I forget, is that what it's called?) because I have a huuugggeee appetite! Chipotle though is really good. I went there only once though.... ohhh man I love mexican sauces like Salsa Verde. I eat that on ALL my burritos and nachos becuase man... its sooooo addicting. Whats everyones favorite hotsauce anyway? :) |

I go to Tacos Lucas. They have a C from the health department and no one in there speaks english.

| Just got back from lunch at Chipotle. I had the barbacoa burrito with pinto beans and extra cheese. Mmm...soo good! My beverage of choice was a Pacifico beer, lunch was fun :D |
